Musical question: Is Kenny G. playing an alto sax, here? Looks too small to be a tenor. I'd heard him on a CD once playing a tenor sax for this song, and it was soooo deep and sensuous / smooth. But I think this version's in a higher register. Still very, very wonderful.

@sailormann1 Yes this is a very deep and moving rendition :) To answer your question, that is a tenor sax he is playing. He may be using a different moutpiece/reed setup from the CD version you heard, but this is indeed a tenor saxophone. Very beautiful :)

Uh, hold on." then he went into an elaborate "pretend" conversation with his business partner who was calling to tell him they had to work 12 hour days until Christmas Eve. i must say the arrangement in everything ive heard by kenny g is so cliché that it is barely listenable. I mean, the annoying piano semi-comp, the synth strings... And completely flat improvisation on the saxophone. Would you likers like this vid even 1/10 as much if it were not for the video, which is, undoubtedly, very good.

It IS Burgess Meredith. As his last acting role is listed as 1995 in Grumpier Old Men, this was probably his final appearance on film two years later. Considering how many Rocky sequels there were, I always thought his character, Mickey was killed off prematurely. A touching final nod to a fine career.
