  • 154

  • 2:02 humm boiola!!!

  • oh great now thats gonna be stuck in my head all day. 154 bang! 154 bang!

  • @dano94 154....

  • 154WTFBOOM154WTFBOOM154WTFBOOM154WTFBOOM

  • What would cause that kind of stress in real flight?

  • @thedreamliner2012 extreme turbulence ad sudden loss of lift hopefully nothing that should happen but htey test to extremes to ensure it cant so that wing break wont happen in flight as you would have stalled and crashed by then

  • @airplanes66 How true.

  • @thedreamliner2012 Nothing. The limit load is already a conservative estimate of the maximum load in flight (which would probably be in level flight at high speed and with an upward gust of wind). This test is at 154% that load.

  • 154...154.154154...154.154154...154.154154...154.154154...154.154 oooooonnneeeeee ffiiiiiiffftttyyy fooooooouuurrrrr... *dude is smiling* lol

  • If you were on a flight where the wing flex was 24 feet I think you'd be dead long before the wing broke.

  • Was that Kim Jong Ill @ 1:29???

  • lol I thought the same thing...

  • press 7 for 154

  • @farmerstel1 Metalergy 101. Steel becomes less and less maluable as its temputrue drops. It's iron carbon crystalline matrix is to blame. How ever aluminium only shrinks(and thus becomes denser) it retains its ductile nature. Hence why it can used in the cold enviorment of space

  • Am I the only one who finds this video and the comments are extremely hilarious?

  • @raykrislianggi Haha you're not the only one. The main impetus for my uploading it was the hilarity. You may have noticed I cut a few extra 154s in for more effect.

  • I don't get it? What's 154?

  • Comment removed

  • @Jamat786 154% of its maximum design load.

  • Respond to this video... 154% of its designed load limit.

  • ANA 787 DELIVERY CELEBRATION (FULL VIDEO)

    /watch?v=BFscb7lbKnk

  • I think I'm going to have nightmares about 154 now, thnx.

  • "one fifty four" SMASH!

  • needs a dubstep remix asap!

  • ok, WTF is that duck at 0:26, 2:45 and 3:06?? haha

  • Okay You Brilliant Ding Bats !!!

Now Try Your Test At - 80 Degrees Below Zero.

Thats The Temperature At 40,000 Feet.

Metal Becomes Very Brital When It Is Cold.

How About A Front To Rear Wing Torque Test ?

How About A Rip The Wing Off Of The Fusaloge Test ?

How About A Lets Crack The Plane In Half Test ?

How About A Lets Rip The Tail Off Test ?

How About A Lets Rip The Rudder Tower Off Test ?

27 Foot Deflection ? Now Thats Scary.

  • @farmerstel1 are u trying to be funny or a smartass to boeing???

  • @farmerstel1 Well golly gosh, I hope the Boeing Aeronautical engineers check YouTube comments, as they could obviously take a few tips from random, unqualified ,anonymous Internet posters when it comes to building aircraft.

  • @vicweb1978 LOL! Well said...very well said. So many "experts" and "technical advisers". They should design a YouTube plane. Get all these idiots together and see what they can come up with.

  • @farmerstel1 right, cause ur such a fucking expert. go back to watching lil wayne and fucking pit bull u dumb ass

  • @farmerstel1 Why are you wasting your time here with us redneks? You should be designing airliners!!! LOL

  • 154 BOOM...154 BOOM... 154 BOOM...154 BOOM... 154 BOOM... 154 BOOM.

    LOL.

    That's pretty intense though.

  • did he say 134 ?

  • My dad was a Boeing employee and was in the building when they did this test. He said, as you will assume, it was very loud.

  • ...154!

  • all those 154,s gave me a headache

  • one fifty fo......KAH BOOOOOOOM !!

  • u can make a techno song out of it 154 boom 154 boom 154 boom 154 boom 154 boom....

  • The facial expressions of those 2 people at the end are way too dumb.

  • Wow! Does anyone know what the designed limit load is?

  • @smimot 1.5 x the amount the plane would ever encounter

  • 1 person was sad about the rubber ducky

  • ONE FRIGGIN FIFTY FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wait hold on what number?? Say again, I could not quite hear ya.

  • where's the shot of the crowd from behind when it broke? I bet they all jumped

  • Eat that Airbus!

  • wow there was more replay angles then a van damme movie!

  • the rubber duckie had the best view.

  • There's a rubber duck on the wing at 26 seconds! LOL

  • We gotta make somebody autotune this..

  • 154%of anticipated force? Since they were saying they wanted it to be 150% stronger? I'll have to watch it again.

  • @clfriday

Initial design was 150% over rated load, they exceeded it by 4%, which is pretty good in the Aerospace industry. That wing on the 777 is rated beyond a supersonic decent and rapid recovery.

  • So... if the engines ever fail all we need to do is make the wings flap......

  • @xxxXxxx255

    ahhahahahaahah

  • No idea what 154 means....

  • No idea what 154 means....

  • ................155?

  • Prediction of 24' wing deflection before break - insane! Under what real-life flight circumstances would THAT occur?

  • hahaha was the slow motion really necessary?...REALLY??? But seriously guys...one fifty four....154....oneeeeee....fifffffftyyyy....fooouuuuurrrrr

  • one fifty four

  • If I hear 154 one more time I'm going to SCREAM!

  • Kim Jong-il @ 1:28!

  • if i were a heavy metal band this is how i'd start my next video......154 for LIFE!!!!

  • i'm guessing yoko ono helped edit the last minute.

  • Wait I came in at 153 what just happened ?

  • Now I'm going to twitch whenever anybody says '154'

  • i can watch this all day

  • Peter Coyote is getting a lot of voice work these days, isn't he?

  • I especially like the part where he says153, exciting cuz you really don't know what's going to happen next you know...like, after he says 154 - HOLY SH*T WTF!!!??

    I just crapped my pants.

I take it all back...the best part NOW is when he says 154, definitely.

  • Beoing is a pretty cool guy. He makes wings that 154 and doesn't afraid of anything.

  • I guess the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy was wrong, the answer is 154, not 42!

  • Comment removed

  • that's definitely a good thing, but in flight, this loading would occur much faster, which would drastically reduce sustainable bending.

  • and i had my money on 155... damn

  • "This is your pilot - we're currently cruising at 30,000 feet and... oh crap, 154!"

  • @kainos202 haha. Yeah that might ruin my flight.

  • 148?

  • God makes millions of planets float without any hearing damage.

  • It was awesome when he said 154

  • One fifty...how much?

  • I hope I'm not driving somewhere and someone yells 154! I may drive the car into a wall.

  • is that a rubber duck on the wing? lol

  • wow they had more replays than break, or any other vid hosting site.

  • one frigging fifty four

  • 154

  • what was the number again?

  • @dman090951 i think he said 153. I'm not sure though

  • I liked the part where 154 was said again and again

  • @heimair ONE FIFTY FOUR,,,,,,,,

  • what happened to the duck?

  • @andysim232 landed on the ground right side up :)

  • 154... 154... .... 154...!

  • @op3l BANG

  • @op3l BANG! lmao!

  • If I get through aerospace engineering, I dream of working for Boeing :)

  • @Shankovich: If I get through aerospace engineering, I dream of working for Boeing :)

JM: Are you Japanese or Chinese and living in one of those countries?

  • @JetMechMA No I am not
