You know how everyone has a guitar in their room? They usually buy it to try to play one song or a few songs they like but never really practice and the guitar sits in the room collecting dust. This song and guitarist made me do just that.
Truly lovely :) but I think I prefer to hear a Guzheng, for one a classical guitar can't do the string bends so well. Or wouldn't that fit in with EMI?
This is so beautiful, I had a crappy day at work today and this just washed it all away, I am also lucky enough to have tickets to see this talented young lady on the 21st of May in Truro, Cornwall. I really cant wait
Thank you so much for the hard work which it must have taken to acheive this materpiece for the classical guitar. You interpret it most beautifully as appropriate to such a heart rending story. I hope that one day you also get to play duets.
PS Daekun Yang is an excellent and highly empathetic player too?
she is chinese... she grew up in china in a middle class working family who were teachers... and i can tell hmong and chinese people apart hmong people got different noses and different face structures i know a lot of hmong people.. and if you still think she is hmong well chinese people would never put a hmong in the spotlight at the age of 12 around that time...

It is true that classical guitar technique "forbids" the type of bends that other guitarists (blues, jazz, etc) do, especially on an electric guitar.
However, nothing prevents one from attempting it. It is just a little bit more demanding (if one wants to respect the other aspects of the piece).

Apparently she is playing a Michael Gee guitar here. He is a luthier from Northamptonshire UK. Sounds nice
