I'm 47 and can remember John Beluchi, Andy Kaufman, Bill Hicks, John Candy, Gilda Radner and many others who spent their lives making me laugh. To all of them... thank you. Amongst them all, Chris was by far the best!!! His death still saddens me 14 years later. My 11 year old son LOVES Chris and I'm glad he does!!! It's so very sad but when stars burn that bright they often burn too quickly. RIP Buddy, we will never forget you!!!

When he died it was the first time a stranger's death actually left me empty and heartbroken. Imagine the films he would've made. Pairing up with Jack Black or Will Ferell or even more of the Spade duo. Chris Rock called him "the funniest person I ever met" Too sad.

My favorite when I was a kid - think I was in 6th grade when he died. It was like losing your big brother. Larger than life - me ans my buddies still actually go to the Hunt Club in Chicago to pay tribute - it was his favorite club. He was down toi earth and very accesible. would have liked to have share a beer and a laugh with him
