When you hear a skillful player, you know he put many many hours perfecting his art. When I "wish" I were better, I know that is stupid of me to think. You wanna be better, just work at it boy!

ya you got it right , i love it to death.......that riff in between the verse is a killer stretch hey, i use it to warm up , keep it up

@upthewazzu Yeah, it's by far the hardest part of the tune. What doesn't help is it's right after a few minutes of not doing much, that riff comes along and sometimes my fingers aren't ready.

Good idea to warm up with this, I might do that too.

One of my favorite Maiden songs!! You nailed it man!! For some reason I love the albums that Clive Burr played on more than the others...He and Steve were an incredible pair! AWESOME playing man! LOVE IT!

wow man, that was great playing!! yeah, listening to maiden first thing in the morning will surely wake you up.. i never got really deep into metal, but number of the beast is just one of those albums i really love - all the musicianship was top notch, bruce dickenson's vocals were awesome, and best of all the songs were great!! a classic record! your fingers go thru quite a workout on this one - 7 minutes worth nonstop - nice job! rock on man!!

@gkoz791 Yeah, my personal Maiden favorite is Powerslave, but I think Number of the Beast is the most popular.

It's a pretty mellow song actually, there's just a few fast licks in whick I often screw up, so it's not such a workout. But most maiden songs are really killers on the fingers stamina
