  • @ofekishay I guess that's why people play quake/warsow/cs/anything on 120Hz displays. Or why people still play FPSes on CRTs :) Search for "how many frames can humans see" and you might even find something about a certain airforce experiment...

    Actually let me just paste it:

    Tests with Air force pilots have shown, that they could identify the plane on a flashed picture that was flashed only for 1/220th of a second.

    If you wanna limit yourself, go ahead. It's a real handicap, though :)

  • @SpiritLwerewolf Human eye: Relaxed: more or less 25 FPS, Normal: 45 to 60 FPS, Stress Mode: more than 300 FPS... The human brain processes the images in a way that they're uniform (smooth), it's what we call movement, there's a woman that got brain damage and can't see movement anymore, she sees Frames... For fun I'll also state the frame rate of a slug brain: 2FPS... In this comment FPS stands for Frames Per Second and not First Person Shooter...
