Aluminum is actually spelt Aluminium (and therefore pronounced that way) in Britain and most probably all other english speaking countries except America. Or should that be spelt Amerca !
@londonbill100 Is it important? So long as they are buying and riding the Guzzi's they can call em what they like. My Italian accent ain't that good either.
Do you feel this bike has enough HP? I have the Griso and it's a monster love it, however I have a Triumph T100 Bonnie and honestly it's like riding a mini bike, just wondering how the V7 stnands up, it's probably one of the best looking bikes ever.
Hey Alex, love the bike and the sound! Did you also install Mistral crossover pipe? I have a v7 Classic(with Cafe's clip- ons) and thinking of changing just the crossover pipe since I red that it alone considerably changes the exhaust sound for the better.
Nice video. I also have a V7 classic. What's the specific part number of that Mistral silencers set? Does it get too loud for long trips? About the tank bag, have you tested it on the rain? Thanks
I just got A brand new 2010 café, and placed the order for a set of mistrals and the by-pass for the catalytic converter..... I love loud motourcycle but from what you are saying, just removing the baffles is enough....
@manico73 Very runabout bike, easy but not cheap. Old conception frame (old Tonti) but resistant. Bit too much plastic but still not a japaneese, it's 100% Made In Italy (very rare howadays when almost everything is made abroad or parts comes from China), that's why the high price. Reliable engine, still a Guzzi.
nice bike !

@londonbill100 probably the same reason all foreigners have accents, because they're trying to pronounce a foreign language. who'd thought...

I own this bike and previously owned a Griso 1100.
We are far too hung up on big numbers.
The V7 may fall behind in a straight line, but in the lanes it out handles the Griso and is a more pleasant ride.
The V7 is capable of sitting all day at 90mph, so how fast do you wanna go ?
Some of the great middleweights have been low on power.
Honda GB500, Honda Bros 650, Yam SRX600 - All fun great performing bikes and all around the same power as the V7.

amen brother,
alot more practical too.
Guzzi's have such a nice blappity blap sound to them too.
it's totally addictive to listen to.

Nicer bike than a Ducati, not quite as nice a noise though, but not bad at all.
