no, i think hacking it is so goood. i hacked my phone a couple of months ago and you can change the way the icons look, i have a video recorder now, i can zoom and have other settings for the camera, and i can chat with aim and yahoo from my phone, there's just a bunch of good stuff and if anything goes wrong, you can always restore your phone from itunes.
