  • guyz i need the turkce lyrics of sufi ...

  • sufi music stirs something within my inner being and this is a very beautiful and moving piece of music. i love and respect traditional music from cultures across the world. i also love forms of modern music such as death metal and electronica but (yes there is a but here) when i come back to trad music i like to hear it with ONLY trad instruments from the particular culture in which it stems. synthesizer and effects seem to taint it for me. not unlike putting ketchup on patates bastisi !

  • LYRICS (Translation) PART I With the mountains, with the rocks Let me call upon you my Lord In the sunrise with the birds, Let me call upon you my Lord With Jesus up in the sky, Moses up on the mountain Sinai, With the asa he is holding, Let me call upon you my Lord. Under the water with the fishes, In the desert with the gazelles, Becoming an Abdal and by calling "Ya Hu" Let me call upon you my Lord.

  • If it's not this music which will send shivers down your spine and make you think about what you are doing in this world, what would it be else? If you think it is only your eyes which can "see", then be sorry for those what your heart can not see...

    yiy gunler ;)

  • I cry my eyes out with peace every time I listen.

  • thank you.peace..

  • you are welcome!

  • who wrote the lyrics? and when?

  • the best of the best

  • lyrics were written by a thirteenth century sufi poet named Yunus Emre. He is a contemporary of Rumi. Even though everyone in Turkey knows him, somehow he is not well known abroad *there are a couple of translations of his work). Lots of his poems have been made into religious hymns (ilahi).

  • This song touches my heart and make me cry every time I hear it. I will be very gratefull if somebody publishes the originaltext in turkish.

Thank you for the english translation!

  • love the music of OMar Faruk!!! she´s the best!!!!!!!

  • With mountains, with stones, Let me call on you, o Lord! With birds at dawns, Let me call on you, o Lord! With birds at dawns, Let me call on you, o Lord! With Jesus in the sky, With Moses on Mount Sinai, and the stick in his hand, Let me call on you, o Lord! and the stick in his hand, Let me call on you, o Lord! Hu Allah, Hu! Hu Allah, Hu!
  • @akilvarmantikvar thank you for the translation!

  • d poem which u posted will u mind if i post it in my channel ?????

  • @younib100

I wouldn't mind at all. Just so it's clear, this is the translation of the song, not a poem.

  • thnx may god bless you :)

  • With Yunus (Emre) and Mawlana, With Hajji Bektash Wali, Let me call on you, o Lord! With smiling faces and with content hearts, Let me call on you, o Lord! My father said: "Say Hu, my son, say Hu." "Say Hu, so your breath improves" I said Hu, and I became who I am today. My Sultan... You are the only mystery, You are ...(?) You are the beloved, My beautiful Allah.
  • You opened the curtain, You spread your light. We found the middle (moderation?) Through you, my Allah. In Yunus we found you, You became Mawlana, You became Bektash, My beautiful Allah. Allah Hu Allah, You are gracious Allah, You are merciful Allah, You are wise Allah. etc.
