  • I am bi and I don't try to make people be like me. I accept everyone for who they are no matter what. Unless they are a murderer or rapist or something O.o

  • I was so confused at the beginning about your Mom and......Dad? But then I caught on. XD

  • I love irish people! i knownthis has nothing to do with the vid but yeah love them!

  • hahaha this is awesome

  • 5:33 OMFG LOL SLAPPPPPPP.

  • I have a question concerning my younger brother (17). I am a girl from Tennessee.I`m 18, have 2 older brothers (20&22), an older half sister older (24) and an older half brother (26). We live in a normal family. We go to college, have fun do sports and are usually (I know, it sounds arrogant) liked. But my little brother is different. He gets bullied, cause he`s gay. It took him a long time to tell us. He even became suicidal! And even though we accept him,it is hard.

How can I help him? Please??

  • @tineeeable Accept him, love him and be there for him. Open the dialogue between you and him, allowing him to see that his family is there for him no matter what. Bug the crap out of him to open up about his problems. And since he's being bullied, you (or your parents) need to talk to the school about anti-bullying programs. Talk to the school and the teachers about how to spot bullying and how to prevent it. We don't need more unneeded deaths, especially of our youth.

  • Have you ever seen the play "Removing the Glove?" Same concept but the substitute being left handed for being LGBT.

  • Really well filmed aside from the Mic man.

  • The idea for this was really clever. Reverse phychology, I might show it to my parents. I really enjoyed this. <3

  • I came out and my mom told me she was okay with it, and then she just started to act like I never told them.

  • the women flinched before she got slapped and whos house has a fire extinguisher instruction sticker lmao

  • OH! i get it! ahahaha. good one.

  • Haha I laughed so hard!! I didn't really understand what they were saying but I thought that they were not liking her cuz she was gay Nd I'm like wow her parents r and she can't be? Nd then at the end I'm like ohhhhh!:) lol I luv this

  • reversed psychology o.O

  • @FilleFraiche I'm trans so it's a little different but still. No one has to say "I'm happy with my gender." It's just expected.

  • This concept is so clever that everyone should watch it!

  • 2:34 I laugh so hard!

  • I'm Dutch and I'm sorry to say so, but it was hard for me to understand the accent :$ but at the end, when I heard: "What's so wrong with being straight?" I understood everything. I think it's unfair that you have to come out when you're gay or bisexual. I mean, when you're straight, you don't have to come out and then you're just 'normal'. I think everyone is equal. I mean, we're all human beings, right?

Sorry for possible bad English. As I said, I'm Dutch, so it's not my best language:$

  • @TheEvilDogg I completely agree. It's just a standard of normal. Why is it fair that straight people meet this standard immediately and gays dont? Straights dont have to come out as straight, and if they are they aren't ostrasized. I think it's unfair that everyone is assumed to be straight. It's like innocent until proven guilty which is bullshit

  • I LOVE THIS ACCENT!!!!!!! nice idea btw XD

  • Are those Irish accents or northern English?

  • *slap* fine

  • ouch!

  • im 20 and im feeling like comming out...but i have no idea how :(. any advice would be nice thx.

  • Oh my gosh!!! it took me to the freaking end to Get what was going on. haha Im so stupid. I love the feeling this is trying to give.

  • OMG good video but HATE HATE HATE her accent. it sounds so awkward.

  • @TEARSBAO She's Irish, stop being so ignorant.

  • Cute accents. ;D

  • the converted thing was making think it was a bad porno XD

  • 2:30

Sad to say that a lot of peopole think that way, that because you are gay that you are some kind of homosexual version of Stan from the Golden Girls.

  • waiiit... r u sayin that evryone was gay exept you? anyway HOT irish guys!

  • this was cute

  • Hot Irish boys with hot Irish accents. I'm dyin' here...

  • @djmixnmagic OMG! I know right? We watched a movie called "Far and Away" in history to show what conditions were like for immigrants, why they would want to come over, political machines, ect. Anyway, the main actor was this super cute Irish guy with an Irish accent. The girl stared at him (in the movie) and I stared along with her.... Oh boy.....

  • @djmixnmagic yeeeeeeeeessssssssssssss,

  • Not gonna lie, definitely cracked up when she smacked her in the face and said, "fine!"

  • ahhhhh there Irish like me =)

  • .... Oooooooooooooooooooooh Kewl.

  • This is nice!

  • i love the concept

  • Nothing wrong with wantin a bit of pussie lol.

But seriously it's nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about at all, you are you and nobody could ever replace you.

    The re-enactment was funny lol

  • Good film. It's nice to see things from a different perspective. Nowadays people still assume that someone's straight. And some people are still shocked when someone (son, daughter, other relative, friend) comes out of the closet.

    All Thumbs up!!

  • 3:56 :D u can tell he's gay....but he looks amazing ._.

  • The girl who plays Riz looks like a young Angela Lansbury-- it's uncanny! ;)

  • are you fucking serious i thot it was about being gay

  • haha u see her flinch at 2 :36

  • wow reveserd i thought she was gay and they were straight

  • LOL @ 2:31-2:37.

  • I love this! OMG the concept, superb. The reversal idea really gets you thinking

  • Wow! That was an actual slap! Didn't see that coming...

  • Good job. But I didn't get some words because of the accent. What is it?

  • youtube com/5ezpzez

needs help coming out to his parents

can you help him with some advice guys?

  • just, brilliant! like, omg, great concept! really thought this out

  • brilliant idea! i love it

  • This was really good it took me a little to understand the meaning but i got it! great job!

  • i smell an oscar!!!

  • This is... reversed.

I couldn't tell for a while if she was straight or gay (although she probably said, I just couldn't understand the accent) and it confused the hell out of me. xD

Now I just need to think about the meaning here... :P

  • its very hard to come out........

  • Corrymeela rocks.

  • i LOVE the guy in the red stripes

  • I like the guy in the red shirt in the car.

  • Good SLAP

  • ahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!! this was fucking funny . awesome brilliant.LMAO

  • We are the real Jonas Brothers. We are coming out

of the closet where we are currently in each others arses

  • HAAAAAH!!!! LMFAOLMFAOLMFAOOOO

  • LMFAO! @ that slap

  • is this about a gay world and one straight girl??? lol its like fucking twilight zone shit

  • LOVE THE ACCENT

  • good video. only realised in the end :)

  • Its dumb to come out cause most gays don't. I came out on youtube but never will in real life. I play on teams it will be to embarasing. But like 100 kids at school came out. I learned from my youtube account that haters are gay they even admit it to me in pm

  • @GayBoyJuly1996 Get real.. coming out is not an option, it's the only way forward... you wanna invite people to hate you- then feel embarrassed about who you are. If it helps, move, and come out to new people. they'll take it for granted and then go back and put the record straight with those from your past! Big hug

    Bill

  • you just scared bro but thats ok. im not out to my mum and dont plan on teling her ever altough if she opened her eyes she would see it cause im butch and its sorta obvious lol. if she finds out after i move out thats cool . but all my friends know tho. its not true tho that they never come out by the way.

  • I was the same, until my mum asked me if i was gay.

It was one of the best things that ever happened to me, especially since im now in a long term relationship with my bf.

The freedom you get is absolutely amazing, you feel free to be yourself, there aren't many greater gifts than that.

  • @DirAlbino I got kicked out of my house and I had to move in with my friend. And let's not forget, I was disowned. Not all experiences are positive. I'm happy for you, I just want you to realize that not everyone gets that freedom.

  • @DirAlbino

That's why I came out on my bday, haha

  • lol , i didnt get it at the begining but now i do , pml

  • Haha I think this is the third time I've come across this video and I LOVE it.

  • OMG. this wasn't what I expected

  • fuck yah its about time lol

  • that's great :D it reminds me of a "letter to the parent's" we once got in religious education with the same message

"What to do when you find out that your son/daugther is heterosexual" :D

it simply reversed all the prejudices about homosexuals and the finally message was: don't worry, Heterosexuality can be cured!

I'f lost it though and I really really want this letter back! I think I need to contact my teacher from then.

  • Nice baffled Nordie homophobe acting there.

  • Guys like you help me admit I am gay

  • this is the best clip it has a good message i can relate so ppl who dont like gays just remember this clip befor u judge someone bc of the way they are we gays are as normal as u we just like the same gender like ilike guys sont judge be a good friend support those who are ur friends and who are gay it does not matter who we like it just matters that they find someone to love

  • I liked this video. There is nothing wrong with anyone.

  • Was a nice message but the camera work was shoddy (I constantly saw the boom mic) and the acting wasn't too great but it was still a great message, nonetheless.

  • "Media workshop's production" - don't be too mean.

  • Good video. Great actually. But your sound man made me laugh lol.

  • Nice clip :) What accent is this btw?

  • Irish

  • It's Irish, I think :3

  • northern irish

  • Excellent twist!! I didn't really understand it until the kid said "Are you straight?!". 5/5.

  • brilliant! absolutely brilliant!

  • i recently came out its hard n ppl r mean but its a relief

  • a close friend of mine also did recently. he was so nervous of what we would think, and could hardly believe when I told him how it didn't make a difference. I know it's hard, ut fair play :)

  • @kidblonde1 t is hard but don't worry honey. there are good sweet people in the world who love you for you. it takes so much strength to come out, believe me sweet cheeks i know. but in the long run, it is so worth it. stay strong darling, stay strong.

  • this is so smart.

people should just see that it isn't wrong at all

  • i am soooo moving to that place.a place where its "unheard" of to be straight!! how awsome!

  • look at 2:36. if yiu look at her eyes, you can see "mom" is anticipating the slap before she gets whacked. work on the acting girl

  • U seemed to have missed the point of the video.

  • Poignant ending. Genius idea for a film.

(I don't mean the ridiculous slapping -tSh FINE!)

  • "Get oyt of moy hoyse royt noy!" xD xD

    ROFL

  • LOL. this made me laugh.

    xD

  • This video was absolutley and posotively amazing in so many aspects.

  • omg well done...luvd that:):)xxx

  • look at 2.58, you can see the mop!

  • hahahahaha :D i love this so much it's hilarious.

  • love the accent : ) oh you came out as straight now i get it : )

  • the home run with the slap XD you go girl

  • LOL! The slapping at the end got me every time! Haha.

  • Those accents are really hard to understand.

  • I absolutely LOVE this video.

  • Cute accent!

  • omg the norn iron accent sounds so stupid and funny

  • the funniest thing i have ever watched

  • i am in love with that accent

    to bad its northern

    lol

    jk

    jk

  • haha

  • What an accent!

  • ar fheabhas! fantastic! :)

  • i no its sad and all but the kichen seen was funny

  • Goxtei do teu video! adorei.. i liked

  • omg, i thought this was some indian accent, until i saw northern ireland.

  • dont be embarrassed ...i thought it was a scottish accent until i looked

  • Lmao So true! Finest case of heterophobia if I ever seen one :P Great job!

  • hahaha, I love how in the outtakes at the end that guy's just sitting on the bench and then he leaves and walks out right at the romantic part. xD

  • confuzzled till middle (boyfriend scene) but i loved it! if only we all could be accepted ofr who we are... quote: hate is unjust, and unneeded, nomatter why!

  • Brilliant. if only real life was this way around.

  • Whoa... I didn't get it at first, until the very end. So, i guess she was trying to let straight people know what it 'feels' to be coming out of the closet. It was a great attempt, but i doubt people will ever be able to fully UNDERSTAND us... I liked this video tho :D

Oh, btw, I like the Irish accent! I think it is frickin' awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =]

  • I love how they switched everything around!

  • its a really great video, but i cant understand the brogue... lol

  • god damnit... evry time u salp her i just about pee my pants ^^

  • most people only have a problem with homosexuality because they worry about what

everyone else would think. homosexuality is

not a bad thing. its not like they choose

to be that way. (: i like this video.

  • finally someone made something like this.

    great idea

  • i love it!!!!!

  • wow... nice twist. I waaaaas getting a little confused... but it never really sunk in till the end.

  • Are you streeaight?hahahhahahahhahahah...I love it!!!

  • the guy in the red and white is just dreamy!

  • Great vid!!!!

  • "aye piss off" 3.39

    lolz

  • wow i actually really like this!

  • ARE YOU STRAIGHT?!

    Haha interesting video. I like.

  • this video might go unoticed ye. but even if we are yelling to teh wind at least we are trying. staying silent doesn't do anything.

  • 3:34 is cute

  • rofl. bizzarro world! XD great vid!

  • lol i luv it

  • In my honest opinion, I see where you were trying to go with this video but it's confusing at first and so you lost me when I figured out it was a straight girl "coming out" to her gay parents. (perhaps so straight people might see how that feels for us?) I don't think that's possible. And I doubt any people who don't like homosexuals will get it. (especially since they are mostly closed minded people) I would try again.

  • I would happen to agree with you, love.

Its confusing but it might get to people.

Maybe we should start a post all over myspace.

    =-)

  • Warning!!! if you are thinking about becoming gay then watch a video called " boys beware "

I think it might change your mind about going gay

  • She isn't going gay.

Did you pay attention to the video at all?

She did a good thing for those of us who are homosexual.

Helps some people realize that it doesn't matter if you are straight or gay.

    Think.

  • Smelly, one does not "become gay"! One is born that way genetically and as they get older they lean in that direction. Just as you were born "Str8" one can be born "gay"

  • i beg to differ. i'm gay and don't believe there is any such thing as a gay gene. The best overall summary of most respected researchers is that homosexuality is due to a combination of social, biological, and psychological factors.

  • You do not "Go gay" you moron.

If you are sexually aroused by men, and are naturally attracted to boys, then you have been for a long time. Most likely from birth. It's not like it's a disease or a fad And it's not just a phase.

    Are you stupid?

  • You're point becomes invalid the moment you referenced a video thats SO old its still black and white. If you're going to stick stupid stereotypes onto gays, at least use a video thats more recent.

BEING GAY =/= being a pedophile

and GET IT THROUGH UR THICK HEAD that homosexuals don't choose to be homosexuals, just like you don't CHOOSE to be heterosexual.

  • smelly you do realize that not only do people not choose to be gay but that video was also made during a time of racism so please tell me what's wrong with being gay?

  • lol

    nice

but i cant understand your aczent so good^^

  • omg lolz nice vid ! something for str8 people to relate with ! but yet, the multiple slaps r sooo funny XD

  • omg what kind of accent is that?? irish?? awesome!!! and anyway grat video

  • That was really good. :]

  • Good Twist!!!!

  • hahahaha! LEDGEND!

i made my friend "come out" to his lesbian parents, that too was hillerious! XD

    good work!

    xx

  • good for you. What a wonderful video to show str8 people what it's like for a teen to come out. Only your little quirk on the subject is gr8!

  • i was puzzled at first but at the end it cleared it up and i think it is absolutely brilliant.

  • Excellent! :) And such a sexy accent it is

  • nice job! hahaha, I like the sease @ the end

  • its a nothern ireland accent cause thts were the place is

  • I understand the "accent"

  • what accent is this?

  • Irish I think.

  • woah what a mind trip..i didnt get it at all until the last second.

  • The main girl was striahgt, everyone else was gay. it was a parallel to the world as it is in "everyone" being straight.

    really goood =]

  • OMG I couldn't understand if she was gay or straight. LOL.

  • 1:39 There is someone's arm in the top left corner.

2:46 Microphone at the top of the screen

2:52 Microphone at the top rightcorner.

3:13 Microphone at the top of the screen.

Its still good though. Some people are gay. Its a bit like The Twilight Zone.

  • First line: LukeChucky needs to get a life.

  • you missed the Microphones reflection in the window at 0.49 HHAHAHAAH :)

  • Really interesting stuff

  • I knew it was Irish Accent...

  • lol, hilarious.

  • Fantastic.
