Its a well established fact that colder northern latitudes generally produce greater precipitation over central Africa, earlier and longer monsoons etc. Kenya has become more arid over the last 5000 years, glacial to interglacial, this is not new nor is it news. This is a solar issue, not a CO2 issue. Add to that the lowest ice minimum was 2007 (the picture gore used) but the minimum is now 500,000 kms greater than in 2007!!! Thats 500,000 square km's MORE ice. And GROWING. The 2007 date is interesting as well since the warmest year on record was 1998 according to the data that the ipcc used. Therefore the lowest ice minimum should have been 1998, not 2007. And in fact in 1998, the ice minimum was bearly 300,000 km less than 1979!!!
