  • It started out well, but fell apart quick.

  • who is singing 1st Tenor

  • this sucks

  • @WickstromA I'm really sorry to hear you say that comment about this state winning group. They don't suck... they won state competitions twice as the best quartet. If you really think that this sucks, then why did you add the video as a favorite of yours?

  • I cannot stop listening to you guys! You're not only all extremely talented, but you're super fun to watch! I see lots of energy, which is great!

  • You guys are very very good! Keep it up!

  • I thank God for that GOOD NEWS!

  • screw em! I think they did great.

  • They did an AWESOME job=)

I don't give a chrick of what PINApwns says.

That person is such a HATER!!!!!

I'll have u haters know that they went to state, and they placed 2nd place out of a lot of small mens groups.

  • I say... very nice job!!

  • Music is the UNIVERSAL language. They did a great job, ignore the haters.

  • this choir has worked their butts off on this song.they took 1st in da solo ensemble contest and took 2nd at a state competition. u say that they sang this song "wrong". how if that was the case, then how were they able to pass through 2 contests w/ superior scores? these guys have different styles of voices from the people you have heard. they have their own unique style of singing. you are entitled to your own opinion, but really, this has gone far enough. do what you want. think wut u want.

  • you are saying that in order for a choir to be good, they would follow what is written and not change what is in the song. well yeah... that is what a "good choir" would do. choirs are able to show off how unique they can be by changing the song for what they think is better. 2 years ago, we went to the heritage festival with a song that we ended up altering. turns out, the judge we had was the composer and LOVED what we did with it and decided to change his own arrangement of it.

  • whatever. think what you want.

  • oh im sorry who are you and why does your opinion matter, oh it doesn't does it???

nope, and actually there is no right or wrong way to do a song, regardless of what you think the judges liked it and we got to go to state and placed second (FYI) SO NEXT TIME YOU WANNA GO BASHING SOMEONE FOR THEIR INTERPRETATIONS OF MUSIC THINK TWICE CAUSE THERE'S ALWAYS SOMEONE WITH A MORE EDUCATED OPINION THAN YOURS HATER

  • we've heard the song sung plenty of times sung by plenty of groups. i'm sorry that you feel they weren't good enough to become the second BEST quartet in the state. which they are.

  • not all of them are white..... one is asian

  • actually, two are white, one is asian, and the one with glasses is mexican. and every culture out there makes "white" music into whatever "color" their culture is. music is music. it's the message that matters.

  • well, maybe they should learn how to sing the song right, they pronounced all of the words wrong EX:they said news like neeyoos(how white people say it) when it is supposed to be pronouced noos. When you hear this song sung by an all black choir (or a choir that has white people but still tries to sing it the right way) then you'll understand why you need to sing this stuff right.

  • seriously, man? i have heard an all black choir sing it. key word: BLACK. they were all black. none of these 4 are black. and they shouldn't have to pretend to be. people who place color labels on music have got it all wrong. this is why the world can't get over race problems. it's music, dude. not black or white. just music. get over it.

  • What these guys did, is sing a song wrong, all wrong. A good choir will sing a song the way it was written, say the words the way they were originally pronouced. And hit the same notes that were written on the original piece. This choir did none of the above. In fact, they were so stubborn as to change the music to make up for their lack of skill. Choirs sing this song with african american accent all of the time, it does not mean they are trying to be that race.

  • When a choir sings a song with a different accent, it doesn't mean they are trying to be that race. It means they have the balls do get out of their comfort zone, and do something other than the usual stuff. It seems that you are being more racist than me, jumping out of your seat everytime I describe something with the words "black" or "white" and supporting this choir who werent open minded enough to look past the cultural differences between them and the song and try to sing the song right.

  • holy freakin crap. i never ever called you racist dude. can we just calm down a second? listen. first, i wanna know exactly how much experience you have as a singer. it really offends me that you think this is sung wrong. it's cool if you don't like it. you're entitled to your opinion. but they followed what music they had. i know. i was there. these guys are amazing and took second in the state. just tell me how much experience you have as a singer.

  • i guess it's just deeply frustrating to hear this said about a group that i saw work day and night so that they could get a place in the state. and let me just say that you need to let me know the next time you hear a white person say "neeyoos." i've never heard it. that kinda made me laugh.

  • I'm totally speechless.
