Maybe God makes you sad because you don't fully understand and have been told a bunch of stuff that isn't true. Or, you have just chosen to hate Him and have nothing to do with Him. Well, there are people who are God haters. But I do want you to know that God does care for people, you just haven't found a way to connect with Him. Start at the cross.
He does help the poor and needy though others who give. It is our responsibility to help one another and to prove our love. Unfortunately there are people who do not give and who steal from all walks of life. Yes, whoever is dead is dead and there is no longer any need to pray for them. Their judgment is sealed. we did not start off as monkeys. Monkeys are their own species. We came from God. You can think whatever you want.
