  • Hello, the thing which I do not understand: (a). MUST we have all categorical variables coded with 0 and 1 to be able to run with chi square? (b). Which chi square should I use, the crosstabs or the Npar chi square?

    I think you are the one for my question.

    Imagine you graph the results of your crosstab.

    1. By default SPSS graphs in the X axis the "male" and the "female" variables. For each variable there are two bars (numbers of "excluded" and "not excluded"). In total there are 4 bars.

    2. I need a graph only with the % and just with 2 bars. One bar with the % of male excluded and another bar with the % of women excluded.

    Can anyone help me?

  • Isnt chi2 only for binary variables and onterwise you use t test?
