You win some, lose some. This time Finland won and I think it was a fair victory. Of course Sweden played well too, otherwise they wouldn't have even made it to the finals.

If you compare Canada's (about 32 million) or even US population (abou 310 million) to Finland's population wich is little bit over 5,2 million you can honestly say, that finns are one of the best teams in the world and they have lot of exellent players all over the world. Finland can nearly always figth back against bigger nations like Canada, USA, Russia and win medals. Go Finland!

I was really disappointed after the final (I am born and raised in Sweden). Don't get me wrong I loved that Sweden won. But I saw parts of the game Fin-Can and the Finish team ruled the game, their energy was amazing. Then when they played Sweden in the final all that energy was gone and Sweden played a really shitty game.

The semifinal against Russia was the real final; Sweden had all the luck on their side throughout the tournament. On top of that, they should have been disqualified for that deliberate loss against Slovakia.

Canada's a lot grittier this time, and since the rink is NHL size this time, the Finn speed probably won't be as useful as Canada grind.

whenever i go to sweden vs canada games it always sweden complaining and saying we cheat and when i go to finland vs canada wheteher finland loses or wins they are always polite to canada and they say good game which is funny becasue finland are way tougher than sweden and have a right to be cocky becasue they could back it up unliek baby swedes but they dont anyways becasue they are a good country

The semifinal against Russia was the real final; Sweden had all the luck on their side throughout the tournament. On top of that, they should have been disqualified for that deliberate loss against Slovakia.
