@mcmillspiece I don't see why thats funny. But okay? I hope my arguments defending Montreal haven't left you thinking I'm just a habs fan lol. Making fun of the habs doesn't bother me. I love the Bruins, Habs and Leafs... I love hockey, so I appreciate teams with a rich history... I just hate people that "hate" a team and they don't appreciate how one has affected the other in becoming what it is. You had some good theories about city and culture. I just wanted to show you a dif view.
@mcmillspiece See, I never argued against the Habs not being a good team now. You beat us in 7 in the playoffs and 1-0 last game. I don't think the habs are in the right place but at the same time, we have lost the most games by a 1 goal difference then any other team. And the past is always relevant. That was stupid of you to say. If the past wasn't relevant, statistics wouldn't matter, records wouldn't be held... EVERY ONE WANTS TO MAKE HISTORY... We don't live in the past we just remember it.
@mcmillspiece Feel free to do the research and then get back to me. I completely agree that Boston always had tough guys, but they were not known for being a team that pushed teams around ( before the 70-80s). The end of Phil Esposito, from the last 2 series losses in a row to Montreal, forced the Bruins to rebuild and reshape into that Big Bad Bruins. Started drafting big young canadian players that can score and had size. Believe what you want about culture the facts are there.
@mcmillspiece You shouldn't be sorry that I disagree, because it's simple that you are clearly biased. Calling NYR a tough market, is ridiculous considering they has 2 players that drop the gloves. And historically is known for having high paid skilled players. If you choose not to believe the facts, you can always go to nhl.com and click on the Boston Bruins and read some articles of their site, they explain exactly what I said, Montreal forced Boston to rebuild into a tough market.
@mcmillspiece Obviously you didn't fully read my comments. Any one that knows the true history of the nhl understands what I am saying. You are to focused on what has happened in the last decade. A culture reflects the entirety of ones history from past to present. I've included past and present. Why would a Mtl-Van or a Mtl-Det game have the same intensity as a Phil-Bos. Not even in the same conference, they play each other once a year.. Watch a Phil-Mtl, Tor vs Mtl game or a BOS vs MTL!
Respond to this video... "Under the new ownership of the Jacobs family, during the late 1970's 'Lunch Pail A.C.' and the 'Big Bad Bruins' replaced the firepower of Orr and Esposito, and despite the lack of superstar talent, the B's had superstar heart embodied in the bench bound bravado of coach Don Cherry (he served from 1974-79) and Terry O'Reilly.O'Reilly epitomized the Bruins of his generation with his toughness combined with offense. Era of Big Bad Bruins.
@mcmillspiece Finally, the toughness of Boston Bruins has nothing to do with the city. It was a response to getting beaten up and loosing to the habs. When you guys lost to us 2ce in the playoffs it lead to this and I quote
@mcmillspiece Saku Koivu, coultn't be traded because of the Cancer situation, and the team was being built around him... Waste of a decade. I respect him as a person, but he isn't a true Captain. Our "Hockey Culture" in Montreal, or Quebec, in general, builds players like Marcel Dionne, Mario Lemieux, Guy Lafleur, Ray Bourque, Mike Bossy, Luc Robitaille, Denis Savard, Jean Beliveau, The Richards, Stephan Richer, Tougher?.. Scott Melandby, Gino Odgick, George Laraque, Peter Worell...
@mcmillspiece Listen I just get tired of people thinking that this is the type of team our " hockey culture" represents. Up until the late 90's our team consisted of skillfull players that can fight and defend themselves. We are not histoircaly a team that gets pushed around. We are the only team that "beat up" the Broad Street bullies. There was literally an episode on the HBO tv series Broad Street Bullies that was dedicated to the Habs bringing their era to an end..
@thekissarmy I love how he says the Canadiens suck and then compares them to the N.Y Yankees. lol and reminds everyone that they are the most winningest team in the NHL with 24 Cups lol
@mcmillspiece And your SYSTEM on your team comes from your players attributes and your Coach and GM... THEY ARE FRENCH CANADIAN (Claude Julien, Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, Jordan Caron) AND THE REST ARE WESTER AND EASTERN CANADIAN.. except for ( Krejci, Chara, Thomas, Corvo and Seindenberg)... 5 out of the whole team aren't Canadian. Only 2 are American... Corvo and Thomas.. CAM NEELY is Canadian.. And I wish we had more Canadians on the Canadiens lol so we can be Stanley Cup Champs lol
@mcmillspiece Culture difference? Replace the french by the irish and you have the same city... We are Northeast American... America is a continent just to add.. and Canadians are North American. And I'm 100% sure your city isn't 100% Drunk Irish idiots, just like Montreal isn't full of drunk idiot Quebecers.. Language has nothing to do with who you are.. Just because we speak english and french doesn't make us french. We aren't from France or European.. We are North American Canadians..
fuuck you les canadien de montreal son fucking bon tayeule au pir avec ton criss de monosourcils laid avec ta face plein de bouton je t dans le cul fils de pute
I hear all the French that you are all a bunch of pillows bitter love sucking cock each other. Canada made a huge mistake in 1754, We should have kick all you french out of Canada, You've been nothen but trouble, You want everything giving to you on a silver platter and when you don't get your way, you act like children, you throw a temper tantrum threaten to run away from home (leave Canada)
@thekissarmy It's so nice to see how much hate their is in Boston. I guess this is why the big story this year wasn't that the Bruins won the Cup, but how the Canucks chocked to a scrub team that had Daddy Campbell making sure all the calls went for the Bruins. I'm glad that he got fired, and now Boston can go back to being a joke again! Your future Captain will be Brad Marchand and he is from Montreal! We produce champions Bergeron, Claude Julien, Marchand brought the Cup home: MONTREAL 4LIFE!
I LOVE HOW ALL THE COMMENTS IN THIS VIDEO ARE FROM 2 MONTHS AGO, AND NOW I KNOW THAT THE BRUINS TOOK HOME THE STANLEY CUP......HAHAHHAHAHA ITS PREEEETY FUNNNAYYYYYY
@MartinS51989 Do not worry. We are going to have those Filthy Habs in the First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs next week, and I can't wait until we sweep their Stupid French Asses out of the Playoffs.
The Canadiens are soft as puppy shit, and we're going to kick some serious Montreal Ass. All I can say to those Hab Bastards is BRING IT ON!
Dude, you need to relax! Chill out man. Believe me, I also hate the Habs with every piece of me, but I wouldn't get too wrapped up every time we get set back those Dirty Montreal Canadiens. Don't worry, in the long run we will get those Cheating Bastards. Just lighten up and get a life for yourself.
@aaronhanak I also do like the Anaheim Ducks, Calgary Flames, Colorado Avalanche, Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Vancouver Canucks just to name a few.
I thought you did not like them because they are French and want there own nation separate from the Anglo- Saxon majority! Still my uncle lives there and he likes it! Even though he is a WASP!
@IICaRLoII I am sorry, I didn't mean to spit in this video. But anyways, I did make a tongue gesture (Which may have a little bit rude, but I did it anyway) just to see why I despise the Habs players a lot (inj addition to making the L with my fingers as Montreal are such losers to me).
@RockofCanada No, I don't hate the Toronto Maple Leafs because they are not as much of an NHL rival to the Bruins even though both the Bruins and the Maple Leafs are Northeast Division teams. Besides, I have 2 YouTube user friends that are Toronto Maple Leafs fans (That being leafsfan18 and BobbyCrispy (aka Mark and Bob) respectively since they are both from the Toronto area) so the Leafs are not really a hated team.
i hate them too
