As many Hollywood productions are, this is real life exagerated. There really are "gorilla advocates". There are people who walk the streets in L.A. who secretly advocate for things like homelessness, AIDS, immigration, mental illness, social reform and many other things that are overlooked by the general population. The Next time you see a homeless guy in front of a 7-11 in L.A. pay attention. Is he well groomed? Are his clothes clean? If you really look does he look homeless or crazy?
