  • Italy is just Pizza, Mafia and Mandolino.

  • @JanCzochralski You couldnt have said a more stupid thing than this one v.v mafia isnt in all italy and nowadays it's more in foreign countries than in italy b.b and pizza and mandolino arent bad things at all .

  • @Nikonorthaly . Wake up, I'm from Italy.

  • @JanCzochralski beh allora la spari ancora più grande---- forse dove vivi te...qui no, dove vivi, a Napoli>?Palermo?

  • @Nikonorthaly No fanciullo mio.

Bravo Sherlock, complimenti.

  • The beautiful Tuscany!

    By villaintoscana

  • Tuscany is the best!

  • I'm Italian, I live in Tuscany, for me all these videos do not represent my country, you think we Italians are all day to eat pasta and playing the mandolin, then I suggest you stop watching the usual film or TV series American tended to ridicule the rest of the world, I apologize for my English

  • This music played in the background has nothing to do with Tuscany.

I guess everyone who has been in Tuscany didn't feel at all the annoying stereotypes Hollywood spread on the whole Italy.

Mandolin is a southern italian thing and they don't even play that instrument too since at least 1900.

Not very informative to promote a cultural place as Tuscany stereotyping it with things that have nothing to do with it.

  • well this isn't Hollywood so find another man to stick it to

  • @NJRocks281

But that comes from an Hollywood stereotype.

I bet the BBC thought about that when made this clip.

  • Since when did Hollywood give a rats ass about Tuscany...name one movie.

  • @NJRocks281

    LOL

It's a stereotype over Italy on the whole.

And you can be sure that Tuscan people give two rats ass about Hollywood.

  • @AlessandroFarnese Oh, big deal. I don't complain when people assume New York City is all Gershwin and skyscrapers. When they visit, we show them otherwise. And they are pleased to learn it.

  • @adknorth

Yes but skyscrapers are part of New York at least, mandolin has nothing to do with Tuscany.

  • @adknorth

Yes but skyscrapers are part of New York at least, mandolin has nothing to do with Tuscany.

  • Also Chianti is a very beautiful place in Tuscany. To do an example Forbes in 2008 has indicated Gaiole in Chianti as most beautiful place in Europe.

  • I Like this documentary, but the music is a stereotype: it doesn't match at all with Tuscany; it's a Neapolitan music style and Naples and its music is a completely different culture.

  • The countryside of the area of San Gimignano, Volterra and Montaione are really the authentic heart of tuscany....

  • Hey brits, Italy's not only Venice and Tuscany.

  • Why don't Brits pay more attention to proper pronunciation of Italian words?

Most Brits make fools of themselves when in Tuscany.

  • @scholion get back in your sauna

  • @scholion i think most brits try their best, you can't label an entire country because of one bbc narrator.

  • yes, can tend to be touristy but still a beautiful place.

  • Thank you for sharing this with us. We have been to Tuscany last year in September. We are going back in 4 weeks from now, to see it in a different season. Thank you again.

  • Etruscans: The DNA samples from Murlo and Volterra are much more highly correlated to those of the eastern peoples than to those of the other inhabitants of [Italy], said Alberto Piazza of the University of Turin, who presented the research. "One particular genetic variant, found in the samples from Murlo, was shared only with Turkish people."

  • I watched (and very much liked) yours... now come see mine!
