  • I am thinking about pulling it out, dusting it off, and giving it another go after seeing your video though!

  • I love A.J. Drew's books. The first book of his that I read was A Wiccan Bible, and I absolutely love it. I think I found his beliefs to be very similar to mine. When I started dating my husband I bought Wicca for Couples and Wicca for Men. I actually read them both, even though I bought Wicca for Men for my husband and I loved them both.

I don't like the Spiral Dance, for alot of the same reasons you brought up in the beginning of your video. I felt like she was talking down to me cont...

  • Hello MrsFiendishBat!

I'm currently working on reading Ronald Hutton's 'Triumph of the Moon.' It is basically as it says a history of the evolution of Modern Pagan Witchcraft and where it sits in a historical and cultural setting. I'm finding this book to be very interesting because I'm still searching for what works for me. This book really takes the mysterious origins of Wicca and many modern pagan traditions and gives true insight into where the many components of them come from historically.

  • My favorite Wiccan book is Circle Round by Starhawk, Diane Baker and Anne Hill. It's a book that's marketed to parents who want to raise their children in the Goddess traditions, but it's so full of crafts, recipes, songs and stories that it's a good book for any age. As far as least favorite, Raven Grimassi's Wiccan Magick. I'm not a big fan of his writing style and found it hard to get through the book. He's gives off a bit of an arrogant tone in my opinion as well.

  • @RescuePupMama I love the Circle Round! I don't have kids but that's a good book.

  • Like: So far my favorite Book is Wicca For Beginners-By Thea Sabin, I love how in her book it feels like your not reading, but rather listening to author speak and there are a few jokes here and there to lighten the mood on things, we all need a break every once in a while.

  • Dislike: Wicca-By Scott Cunningham, he is a well respected author none the less, but when reading his book, I just felt like I was reading from a school text book, it was all just beliefs and nature, no outstanding information, no history of wicca, I honestly felt like I could have just read the glossary and then put the book back on the shelf.

  • Like: An almost wiccan book (i'm non-wiccan): Noud Van Den Eerenbeemt: Handboek voor heksen. The correct english title is: Handbook for Witches. Really great book. I felt as I walk with Merlin. There are so much inspiring information.

Dislike: S. Ravenwolf: Teen Witch. So much incorrect information, sugar-coated text. In here, Hungary, there isn't a witch who taken this author seriously. I can't understand the americans or the "fans". They like an author, who are incorrect and disingenuous.

  • @Necromorta I see your point. I always find it annoying when the authors are historical - or in any other way - incorrect. If you cant trust them whit history how can you trust them at all?

  • @MrsFiendishBat Very well said!
