Didn't get a chance to see the show, but the music is much better than any critics seemed to want to say. I was disappointed that somewhere between the 1st preview and opening night they dumped the original opening number, which seemed to be quite good, replacing it with a song that gets reprised later. One would think that after such a long tryout period it would have been frozen by then. The song is on the demo recording.

That was a nice way to end the show's run. I wish I had actually seen it before it closed.

That's where I got that from. but yeah I know- I guess it just wasn't the year for Wonderland. I wanted to see it soooo bad but I never got the chance. :\

@ceesayssorry The Disney movie might be copyrighted, but the books that the musical is *actually* inspired by/based on has been long out of copyright, so that's not really an issue. Unfortunately it just wasn't making as much money as they needed it to to keep it open.

@TsWade2 Well, there is talk that Disney is being a real bitch that they basically had nothing to do with this musical or whatever because it's based off of Alice in Wonderland and they had to close because of legal issues. there's also talk that maybe people just like the shows like catch my if you can and the other new ones better. but I don't think that it's been open long enough for that assumption to be made. I think it's legal issues. :\
