  • I JUST CANT BELIEVE THAT HALF YOU HAD NO IDEA THAT IT WAS A SPOOF... BY THE WAY....A SPOOF IS A HUMOROUS VERSION OF A MOVIE, THEATRE PLAY, SONG, ETC.... ETC...OH, AND ETC MEANS...EH, NEVERMIND..

  • It's all greek to me.

  • Can't... Stop... Laughing...

  • sounds like star trek!

  • Keep on effin around and you are gonna Put Your Eye Out !!

  • I was lost 20 seconds into this video listening to the guy so I shut it off.

  • Frasmetorical! Absolutely scrimbobulating!

  • needs a flux capacitor then it can go 75mph

  • the purple diabungy switch fluctuator is all frigged up. check the unnah cunnah punnah!

  • damnit, use common man language. no one could make out what the hell you are talking.

  • why don't he spit out the damn, marbles so we know what he's sayin? lol

  • lol what?

  • Ohhhh, now I get it!

  • i like how the name of the video is "Segways aren't all that complicated." misleading assholes.

  • @inmateno12897 you must not have watched the whole video... douchebag

  • I totally disagree with him

  • I just can't get enough encabulator effect to successfully modal-shift the inverse magneto infra flux...

  • @Paxmax you have to re trans the inter codabulator with 7.492 degrees of geo- maculation to cause a non-ferres codabulation effect, that perfectly shifts the inverse magneto infra flux.

    its that simple.

  • @chrismofer Thx man! I've been struggling forever to push for higher encabulation, your solution is both elegant and effective!!

  • @Paxmax ive figured out that it works best with 7.4921993, but i just rounded for the sake of a sourcing method that most dingle arms rely on.

  • Ummm, I thought I was smart. But this video proved otherwise lol. Seriously did anyone understand half of the shit he said? Sounds like the writer just found out what a thesaurus is.

    FUCKING SPEAK NORML

  • @SSxMisfiT You know this is a joke and half the engineering terms in this video don't even exist right?

  • wtf did that guy just talk about?

  • They may not be all that complicated, but they sure bring out the homosexual tendencies in all the people that ride them!!!

  • @no2nate

    ^- speaks from experience

  • @teamtestbot You do huh! My theory is correct then.

  • Cool, now all you have to do is to ride at 88 mph and Back to the Future.

  • @gabrias i can imagine that in my head. lol. martys tilted over like 45 degrees to go that fast.

  • Yes the drawn reciprocating dingle arm is not used on the latest models. It caused too much cross dressing constipulation.

  • No flux capacitor? Hard to believe...... Perhaps dingle berry powered??

  • i love engineering humor. the "retro/turbo encabulator" joke has been going around since the mid-40s.

  • This is the stupidest fucking thing ever, has it ever occurred to anybody to just put a third wheel on the front?

  • this guy should write tax forms; oh wait......

  • I believe he forgot to mention the gyzmomitor and the flux capacitor.

  • No, as he stated around 0:58, they did away with the former conductive flux technology and went with a modial interactive system using Magneto Reluctance and Capacitive Duractance! LOL

  • oops, I meant 0:48

  • BAHAHHAHA

  • yea. thats not complicated at all. lol

  • wow, just tor the hell of it i want to look up some of those words he be saying ...lmao

  • lol, This guy talking is a fucker.

  • hella funny

  • Well, Dean Kamen supposedly built one for his investors in under 5 minutes from parts contained in a single duffel bag.

  • It's easy to build a prototype quality copy, but building a production quality device that can operate in a wide variety of environments safely and effectively (not to mention pass safety certifications) is a bit harder. Most of what we pay for is safety and durability.

  • good job MIT

  • GREAT VIDEO!!!!

  • It took me a second to realize this was a joke. It just get's funnier and funnier- "six hydrocoptic marzel veins"?! Brilliant work fellas!

  • doesnt anybody know what an automatic cardinal gram diverson powered zenoflulic cherry pitter with a 14 4 glochensphiel is

  • LOL funny! Total techno mumbojumbo. LOL

  • LMFAO!!! is funny how idiots things that is actual terminology. Bro the dude just made up a bunch of worlds and you guys thing he is a geek... He just got you. LOL he is just describing a project in a overly geeky parody way.

  • eh.... WHAT???????????

  • Oh crap am I laffin at the narration! Coffee just shot outta my nose!

  • Yes. They also forgot to mention the light beam FM frequency modulation necessary to transmit data to the movement servos in the Amulite chassis! The Retro Encabulator prevents side fumbling of all this while preventing the Cardinal Grammeter from upending itself. You wouldn't want that. Marsel Vanes and Magneto Reluctance are used to good effect here, for once.

  • Hold up!! He forgot to mention the multipolarized flux capacitor!! Do you seriously think the sytho-axis oscilators will just coriolisate the continuum transfunctioner all on its own??? Maybe on a semi-centripetal counter-oscilation confuguration but not on something THIS sophisticated. Honestly.

  • indeed....

  • I remember when the rumors of something revolutionary in transportation were released before anyone knew what the Segway actually was. A friend of mine and I were speculating when I lived in Texas. I thought hat maybe they were finally going to disclose some kind of teleportation, or faster than light speed technology? They're cool and all, but what a let down when we realized that the end result was that the Segway was the revolutionary method of transportation that was being rumored.

  • Heh, I remember thinking the same thing. Someone called one of the talk radio shows here in South Florida and talked about a "truly revolutionary" new mode of transportation and what a freakin GENIUS the inventor is. I was waiting for something very cool and very twenty-first century.

Segway is kind of cool but ... 'revolutionary'?

  • Your reference to being in Texas when you were speculating is relevant how? What does that mean to us?

  • Oh, I'm sorry. The translation is that the Segway is a worthless, novel piece of shit that disappointed a friend of mine, as well as myself, while I lived in Texas and when we had been speculating upon what the revolutionary method of transportation could ever be? Our ideas were much more advanced than the Segway. To clarify the comment, it means that the Segway is a novel, worthless piece of shit. Texas is just an extra for you.

  • I mean, if you consider something with wheels to be revolutionary and if you consider transportation to be somewhere in your own town, or city, then I guess it is the piece of junk which revolutionized transportation? This guy dreams much larger than that and those limitations. We were talking about things like the transportation of matter for one location to another, kind of like the Star Trek transporters. Which would you rather have? Segways are cool, though, huh?

  • from

  • segways transport matter from one location to another, and they already exist. How does this make your machine better than a segway?

  • That's pretty good shit, actually.

  • nice but its toooooo noisy ...

    segways are way quieter

  • I just want the script. I could BS my friends for weeks with this.

  • Cute..but no cigar!! This is almost a word for word rehash of an old skit circulated in the '70's that showed a nerdy guy introducing the "Turbo Encapulator", a new automobile transmission. What was left out was the purported cost $350,000,000,000.00 "But not to worry, the government will pay for it." Good fun though. Brings back lots of memories for me. By the way, I have a copy of the original, I just might post it.

  • funny, but not what THIS video has reprehends itself on YouTube

  • u can get information on this segway by just googleing "diy segway" i built one in my high school

  • differential girdle spring.......bangled arm.....produced by the modial interaction of amidoreluctants and capacitive deractives....panametric fan....wow thers lots moe of his bs that no one will understand....wow i think hes just making shit up

  • Gee you think?

  • man he can sling some bs words I understood about 1/3 of that and probably could rewrite it in simple 2-3 syllable words

  • CONFUSING!!!!!! lol

  • Guys, the audio is from the Rockwell Automated Retro Encabulator spoof video from the 1950s. Almost nothing in the video actually exists in its described form and function. Its mostly composite techno-babble used for comedic effect.

The Retro Encabulator (also known as the Turbo-Encabulator) presentation is based on a popular in-joke with electrical engineers that began around the mid 1940s.

  • ok so this whole thing was just bs?

  • I believe that was what he just said.

  • i could not stop laughing prefamulaided amulite? wtf ha whatever dude

  • You have to be kidding me. Very funny.

  • I think the entire dialog was computer generated like a random technobabble generator or something.

  • Wow... was the audio track ACTUALLY about a Rockwell product? I wonder what it does if it is...

Nice segway... I'm guessing you're associated with a FIRST Robotics Competition team in some way by the CIM motors, DeWalts, etc.

Good job... funny video... but I wish we could have seen more of it running.

    -q

  • I, for one, welcome our robot overlords. Especially if they have cool cup holders and are made of 8020 extrusion.

  • old school joke lol

  • Seganyway hehehe PAT. PENDING

  • OMG I am so glad to see yet another spin on the good old Turboencabulator Joke...

So how have you been able to over come the world wide ban on nofer trunnions since they have been deemed responsible for global warming and or global cooling depending on which Al Gore computer modeling method you prefer =^-^=

  • he have no clue what he is talking....

  • Now he's just using complex words that aren't needed.

  • OK i'll make it easy for ya!...Get a fuckin Segway.... Pove! (UK)

  • Come on!! It's a spoof docum, just like the drawn reciprication dangle arm to achieve sinusoidal diplineration, or it's retro integulator...lol

And you surely shouldn't need prefamulated amulite or dingle-dangle spring bobs!!

  • .. I actually understood... MOST of that.

  • "All controlled by Alan Bradly gears" is that the person who made it or what?

  • No, the companies named are (or were) suppliers to Rockwell. AB supplies sensors to Rockwell.

  • NICE!!!

  • you had me at hello

  • nice

  • Oh man this guy is talking another language.

  • Good job guys. Funny as hell. Great video.

  • Cool! but does it have redundancy on all parts ?

  • Only if you hook up a Phase-lock Loop inhibitor post construction.
