"Raj Thackeray invited me to this programme. Initially he said I just have to sit there on the stage. I was happy. Then slowly he dropped the bombshell: I would have to read a poem. I said yes, without thinking. Later, when he was gone, I started to take out my books, thinking of which poem to read. I thought of this particular poem and I started to read it out to Anjali (his wife). It was only Anjali sitting in front of me, but still, I couldn't even go through the first two lines."
