can someone please tell me what happened in .hack sign?
in ep 25 that monster appeared and then (out of nowwhere) tsukasa and subaru meet in real-life.
and then there are 2 episodes that are some kind of specials and then there´s ep 28 where everything is over (that monster is defeated and sora who fell in coma (or something like that) is there too?????
As someone who has played the demo for the game, I have to say that it's not as bad as everyone is expecting it to be. To be honest, it plays a lot like the other games, except a few added extras, like "link judge" and "break". No, you can't play as any of the other characters, but that's no different than the other games that've come out.
The only thing I was disappointed with was the fact that the fields are short, and the bosses have two life bars.
Somehow I sense fail on a epic proportions when it comes down to the actual character selection for this game, it looks like you're forced to play the character Tokio as your main character the whole game even in Ad Hoc Mode which really doesn't excite me at-all when you see Tokio, Tokio, and yet again Tokio. Personally the best thing they could do is allow players to pick from the variety of characters in the game as their own main character. Lets hope they don't screw this game up that way.
at the end of this game they should have a happy warm hearted ending followed by the title .hack link in big text while they play gentle hands the japanese version then say every person who made a .hack anime, manga or game plus anyone who helped while showng pics of orcas death the fight with skeith innis magus an so on then the final momment of quarentine then the first aida encounter first endrance moments azure kite fight scenes and then scenes of sakaki folowed by link scenes and a goodbye
WARNING: If you have custom firmware (i.e. hacked firmware from Dark-Alex / M33 Team) then do NOT attempt to play this game. It demands an update to 6.10 OFW which is a no-no considering it has not been h*cked yet. Give the M33 Team time and they will do it.
Shame on Namco for making this game use such a new FW. It ain't touching my PSP until a fix comes out.
lol u obviously aren't up to date with the PSP scene.......5.50 GEN-D3 is already out and can play the demo fine, and will definitely play the game when it comes out since GEN is probably the only active team still alive in the PSP scene......Dark Alex has long been inactive since half a year ago.

GEN-D4? It's not even announced yet, there isn't one. I'm assuming you were talking about GEN-D3? And yes phantasy star portable 2 is playable on gen-d3, it's out ages ago but it's in japanese. Check PSPISO.

I'm wondering if this game follows the manga, or if it's a sequel to the manga. Nonetheless, I'm really interested in all the Cross Rengeki attacks, since it has the characters cooperating together to perform an attack. What really took my by surprise though was at the end it says "'The World' The Last Fight", making me think that this may be the last .hack game ever. =O

I never did understand how haseo had no memory of ever being in the world if he shows up in .hack//sign unison episode in a party with kite and tsukasa.
he got data drained in like ep 26 of .hack//sign no? he was released in vol 3 of outbreak by Kite and I assume at the end of vol 4 thats when they party in net slum with sora right?
The reason is that .hack//sigh Unison is a non cannon episode, kinda like a filler in most Manga to Anime shows. It never actually happens in the official storyline of .hack, Unison never takes place.
After Sora got "killed" by Skeith they became one. And when you are kite in the .hack games you defeat skeith again and in doing so, you free Sora. That is when Sora then wakes up from his coma and has no memorie. Sora doesn't know it but when he logs on into The World R:2 he doesn't know he has played before( well the 1st version) That is why Haseo has Skieth in him. Because technically Skieth is still within him. Do i make sense?

Well, considering they were 3D in the two previous games series, it's probably gonna be 3D. For the PSP store thing, it would be very interesting. It would make it feel a lot more like an online game, which it is supposed to be.
you know what wuld be really cool though? A .dothack//the world game for the playstation3 and is remote play compatible with psp you could create your own character and there would be an arena to fight other players online and it would be compatible with the bluetooth headset so like in the game you could talk to other players online and because it's on the ps3 they can put up new events like every week and add ons on the ps store new wepons and areas ya know so what do you thank of that?
That would in fact be extremely awesome and it would also force me to buy a PS3 and all the stuff necessary. There was actually something similar that was sold (and is still selling, as far as I know) in Japan. It was online, but not a lot of people bought the damn thing. So if it didn't work out too well in Japan, I don't think it would work in America either, where there are even less .hack fans. (Let alone here in Canada, where I only know like 5 dot hack fans =__=)
i thank your talking about .hack//fragment wich is for the ps2 and an mmorpg released in 2005 you could create your own player and play with other players but the levels max is 99 and no events and was a hassle geting online the ps2 needs an online register disc and has to work with your computer simultaneously I personally know because i'm a real .hack fan so on my birthday i got .hack fragment,japanese ps2, online startup disc,and a ethernet cable to reach my system to computer It was horrible
It would be really cool... but it is incredibly wishful thinking. They have tried to make actually World based MMO's before. It turns out to be incredibly difficult. And to have all of that on the PS3 would be severely hard to do, and they would have to cut down a lot just to get it to work and not take forever to update. It would be great, but it just might be too much work for what it is worth.

Well, they would have to actually make it good, for it to work internationally. .hack//G.U actually had a big succes in Japan, as well as in America and North America. So I guess if they made an online version of that, it would be great.
i say NOOOOO why? 1 because a pc dose not have the graphic ccapability as a PS3. 2 .hack//fragment came out on the pc in japan 2005 and was a total failure. 3 they would make more profit if they signed a contract with sony to make a .hack//the world 160gb PS3 bundle pack. also if anybody has any ideas please e-mail me or sumthin |)
i agree with you and disagree. a ps3 version of the world would be awesome although the issue here is that it will exclude those who do not own a ps3 and those who own a ps3 less that 160gb and they cannot make a game like that. also, .hack//fragments was a failure because it was nothing like the Anime or the vg games and this disappointed many. if they were to make a world for PC it needs to stick to the anime in order for people to want it.

I dont really care if you hate me, but its kind of silly since you dont know anything about me. And I know not everyone can afford a gaming PC (at the same time, they dont all cost that much, and you do far more with a PC than just gaming. A decent computer used for things other than gaming costs alot as well). My point in bringing up a PC in the first place was to rectify what can attain the greatest graphic capabilities, which isnt the PS3. I prefer console gaming despite that.
And I do like .hack, the games just get stale after purchasing four+ games that barely change from the last. And the latest addition to the series just seems silly plot-wise. The series either needs to end (like all good things), or be re-invented. I mean, seriously. Both Kite and Haseo are back?

Not true man. They already did that .hack fragments, the reason why it didnt go out so well is because the online play waws almost no different from from the games themselves, not to mention prerendered characters, though in actuality it would take years to create a real version of the world not to mention a large team to maintain it, just for the landscape designs and even the multiple character designs to, there will never be an online version of The World.

The reason is that .hack//sigh Unison is a non cannon episode, kinda like a filler in most Manga to Anime shows. It never actually happens in the official storyline of .hack, Unison never takes place.

You mean Haseo? then yes.
After Sora got "killed" by Skeith they became one. And when you are kite in the .hack games you defeat skeith again and in doing so, you free Sora. That is when Sora then wakes up from his coma and has no memorie. Sora doesn't know it but when he logs on into The World R:2 he doesn't know he has played before( well the 1st version) That is why Haseo has Skieth in him. Because technically Skieth is still within him. Do i make sense?

Well, considering they were 3D in the two previous games series, it's probably gonna be 3D. For the PSP store thing, it would be very interesting. It would make it feel a lot more like an online game, which it is supposed to be.

you know what wuld be really cool though? A .dothack//the world game for the playstation3 and is remote play compatible with psp you could create your own character and there would be an arena to fight other players online and it would be compatible with the bluetooth headset so like in the game you could talk to other players online and because it's on the ps3 they can put up new events like every week and add ons on the ps store new wepons and areas ya know so what do you thank of that?

That would in fact be extremely awesome and it would also force me to buy a PS3 and all the stuff necessary. There was actually something similar that was sold (and is still selling, as far as I know) in Japan. It was online, but not a lot of people bought the damn thing. So if it didn't work out too well in Japan, I don't think it would work in America either, where there are even less .hack fans. (Let alone here in Canada, where I only know like 5 dot hack fans =__=)

i thank your talking about .hack//fragment wich is for the ps2 and an mmorpg released in 2005 you could create your own player and play with other players but the levels max is 99 and no events and was a hassle geting online the ps2 needs an online register disc and has to work with your computer simultaneously I personally know because i'm a real .hack fan so on my birthday i got .hack fragment,japanese ps2, online startup disc,and a ethernet cable to reach my system to computer It was horrible

It would be really cool... but it is incredibly wishful thinking. They have tried to make actually World based MMO's before. It turns out to be incredibly difficult. And to have all of that on the PS3 would be severely hard to do, and they would have to cut down a lot just to get it to work and not take forever to update. It would be great, but it just might be too much work for what it is worth.

Well, they would have to actually make it good, for it to work internationally. .hack//G.U actually had a big succes in Japan, as well as in America and North America. So I guess if they made an online version of that, it would be great.

i say NOOOOO why? 1 because a pc dose not have the graphic ccapability as a PS3. 2 .hack//fragment came out on the pc in japan 2005 and was a total failure. 3 they would make more profit if they signed a contract with sony to make a .hack//the world 160gb PS3 bundle pack. also if anybody has any ideas please e-mail me or sumthin |)

i agree with you and disagree. a ps3 version of the world would be awesome although the issue here is that it will exclude those who do not own a ps3 and those who own a ps3 less that 160gb and they cannot make a game like that. also, .hack//fragments was a failure because it was nothing like the Anime or the vg games and this disappointed many. if they were to make a world for PC it needs to stick to the anime in order for people to want it.

A high end PC can output graphics way above any console manufactured now; so that being apart of your reasoning is kind of ridiculous.
I don't agree with your reasons, but I don't want an MMO of The World. I kind of wish the series would die (unless Bandai actually produces a decent RPG adaption of the game; though the continuation of the plot-line is becoming...ridiculous).

I dont really care if you hate me, but its kind of silly since you dont know anything about me. And I know not everyone can afford a gaming PC (at the same time, they dont all cost that much, and you do far more with a PC than just gaming. A decent computer used for things other than gaming costs alot as well). My point in bringing up a PC in the first place was to rectify what can attain the greatest graphic capabilities, which isnt the PS3. I prefer console gaming despite that.

And I do like .hack, the games just get stale after purchasing four+ games that barely change from the last. And the latest addition to the series just seems silly plot-wise. The series either needs to end (like all good things), or be re-invented. I mean, seriously. Both Kite and Haseo are back?

Not true man. They already did that .hack fragments, the reason why it didnt go out so well is because the online play waws almost no different from from the games themselves, not to mention prerendered characters, though in actuality it would take years to create a real version of the world not to mention a large team to maintain it, just for the landscape designs and even the multiple character designs to, there will never be an online version of The World.
