I know this is satire but interestingly enough cabbage, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower and broccoli all come from kale. And this has happened in historical times. I think cabbage appears about 2000 years ago, cauliflower appears in the 1500s and broccoli in the 18th century. All through artificial selection by humans. Evolution happening right in front of us.
