No shit sherlock. Did you eat paint chips as a child? This commercial is making fun of the situation - people who hang these signs on their doors are inviting Rape, Robbery, and Murder into their home by letting the world know they are unarmed.

The point is that there is NO logic in letting people know your home is "gun free" - the only possible explanation, then, is what is described in this video - they expect robbers to "honor the code" of them having a "gun free home".

I think that the whole idea of a Gun Free Zone is not to actually stop crime at all. The Framers of this idea must actually have something more in mind simply because the idea is so stupid. I think it is just a scare tactic. If anti-gun liberals can post these signs everywhere then maybe the image of a gun with a red line running through it will create an image or feeling that guns are somehow the problem. Anti-gunners will do anything to get guns outlawed no matter how devious the method is.

Criminals will ignore it, but how many armed citizens, when seeing a no guns sign, will leave it in the car? Or leave it at home knowing the walmart they are going to doesnt "allow" guns? That will conveniently disarm the public in that area, ensuring an easy mark for a clever criminal.

Thank god in my state signs hold no legal weight. Ignore it and carry anyway. Only thing they can do is ask you to leave, IF they even notice.

A person who intends to murder classmates or other students will ignore the gun control law that prohibits guns in schools. If they're going to ignore the murder law they will for sure ignore the gun law.
