I got my predator last november 2010, it has scope mount issue like many. Insted of fighting Barnet again, I bought a Parker Concorde over E-bay for a little more than half the price of Bass Pro Shop. The Predator has Issues that Barnet won't get back to me on... One is the cheek piece being to short the other is the string serving, and now the scope mounting. Also I did order a string from them a month almost ago and just now are they shipping it from what the lady told me on the phone today.

BAD FIT ON EVERY PREDATOR IS THE CHEEK PIECE! I have spent lots a money on this mail order just to find it has a cheek piece that makes it like shooting a pistol. I should a bought a Parker! Nice CB, But Crummmmy Cheek piece! WX9DX

Sorry guys but if you want to hear something real nice go to Camo Knights and look at the crossbow I shoot. I have three one from Horton,Parker and Barnett and they all rock when I shoot my 12ga bolt from them!!! No matter witch one it is shot from it is BAD ASS!!!! Yes..thats right 12ga tipped bolt and I have 12ga spear also !!!! VERY COOL!!! So look up Camo Knights and let me know what you think.

I have an Excalibur Equinox and to me its the best on the market. 350+FPS and 225lbs of draw. I tried several before I bought mine and to me the Equinox it the best!

I've read that the strings on Barnett crossbows wear out quite fast, and tend to snap before one hundred shots. Could you enlight me?

86m/sec, so just 282 ft/sec? Bites.. Do you prefer the flicking action on this or does that not get in the way? I'd be concerned for snapping those actions. What should I get the revoultion or the predator?
