Charles, congratulations on being selected by the Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints in the 2010 NFL Draft. I know that you are excited and looking forward to August 12 when you enter Gillette Stadium to face the New England Patriots. But be prepared to work your behind off. I know that complacency is the biggest enemy of a defending champion. I'm sure that the Saints want to avoid that. Best of luck in your pro football career.
He seriously dominated against Ohio State, once he got his hands on a guy it was game over. It looked like he got away with some holds, but impressive nonetheless. Can't wait til this guy is the everyday LT for the Saints.
Seems like a really technically sound tackle. If he could get some extra pounds of muscle, I would bet that he would be a great run blocker too. 1 season in an NFL conditioning program would probably do that for him.
With the 23rd pick in the 2010 NFL draft, the Green Bay Packers select. . .
LT Brown, LG Pitts, OC Heitmann, RG Rachal, RT Staley. New OL coach Solari gets to showcase zone blocking, although not (yet) on the scale as Gibbs over in Seattle.
his footwork, technique and hands are second to none in this years draft, needs to finish more in the run game. he will go to the chiefs in the second round
Don't be surprised if Charles Brown is the first tackle taken. He is a perfect fit for Shanahan's zone scheme and he has better tools than Ryan Clady for his system.
Okung, Bulaga and Williams are not great fits for the zone scheme. Pete Caroll may use his first overall pick on him as well if he is available.
very athletic very good at pulling and blocking in space. mike shanahan like these kind of guy could got to washintion but i think they wont pass on bradford
Wow, amazingly fast and he uses his hands so effectively. I hope my Skins take him. This guys speed and athletic ability in Shanahans zone blocking scheme, would be amazing to watch.
i've been watching lt draft prospect highlights and he looks alot better than guys like Anthony Davis and Bruce Cambell...very good run blocker and great pass blocker i would take him over the "BIG NAMES".....
This guy is an elite pass protector. Watching him against outside moves and the way he uses his hands are absolutely flawless. His running game blocking was average at best but watching him against pass rushers is actually entertaining, that's how good he is at it via his speed hands and how he attacks with them.

Reminds me a hell of a lot of D'Brickashaw Fergusen. That's a very good thing too.

looks like a premier pass blocker but maybe not run blocker but they didn't show many runs

I would'nt be disapointed if the Pack took him, most have him as 2nd round.

ur right very athletic but would be a dream fit for the raiders zone blocking scheme

helped himself a lot by getting to 300lbs. everyone knows he's ridiculously athletic it was just a matter of he was too light.
don't see him getting past pete carroll at # 14.

your on point. all he needs to do is geeting better on finishing his run blocks and another 15 lbs and he will be set.

packers are prob taking him if they dont get bulaga

He's far too weak, they've talked too Jared Veldheer two times so far, which is a better pro prospect. He'll be a second round pick.

He'll find major success to a team that runs a zone blocking scheme, real athletic.
