Paying their taxes. Are you sure about that? Sir, do you know the number of Sri Lankans on social assistance in Toronto? The last time I checked, when you are on welfare, you do not pay tax. Am I saying that all of them are on welfare? Of course not, but a good % of them are on assistance. I work in a social services office in Scarborough where a good portion of the Tamils in Toronto live and a lot of them have never declared a red cent in earnings.

As a Canadian citizen I have more than respect for the Canadian constitution and the government but its a piss of to see how I get ignored by the current government after all the heavy sum of taxes I pay. Not sure why this clip is called police brutality - there was nothing excessive about their reaction. It looked like it was commensurate with the escalation of the protest. This entire situation is ridiculous - I bet most people don't even know what they are protesting about.

Props to the cops though, they look mighty fine. :p
