  • Night Stalker Clarke looked really bad here but to his credit he would improve over time and by the time he became Wrath he was a pretty good agile big man. Much better than Kevin Nash.

  • "Hitting him with that club-like object" Um....i'm gonna say the password is "AXE".

  • Worst. Match. Ever.

  • shit match sunday!

  • They're talking too much , but it's easy to notice them talking to eachother.

  • lmao

  • Who is on commentary? Jim Ross and a young Paul Heyman???

  • @ChubberGlump I think its Bobby Heanan and JR?

  • @ChubberGlump Yes it was Jim Ross and Paul "E. Dangerously" Heyman.

  • Meltzer gave it the worst worked match of the year. This brought me to this classic. Still better than Hogan Vs Warrior Halloween Havoc

  • 4:18 "dominating Luger..." Actually that's Sid, JR.

This is the worst match I've seen in a while.

  • awful.

  • They're going after that lung!

  • this is a classic, must be released on dvd

  • I have a book that lists the 101 worst wrestling matches - in no particular order - this one is in there

  • @ChannelUmptyThree i bought that book lol this is a shite!

  • 6foot8 well over 300 pounds i wouldnt mess with this guy

  • isnt that adam bomb?

  • @jamiirali1 Yes, before he became Adam Bomb.

  • seriously clumsy match

  • i completely agree with the -**** rating the observer gave this. actually, they may have been too generous

  • Adam Bomb....

  • "club like thing"

  • I always liked Clark. Good agility for a power merchant. A pity he was gone shortly after this.

  • What a fucking horrible match.

  • I thought for sure the Night Stalker was going to nail Big cat with that stick!

  • Just answered my own question. Bryan Clark is his real name. good ol Wikipedia.

  • Is night Stalker Adom Bonm, Wrath. Kinda looks like a younger version of him?

  • @trunkmonke1980 Yes he had just left the folding AWA!

  • kinda looks like a roided up Curt Hennig from behind!!!

  • classic

  • I remember this match confusing the hell out of me as a kid. I was eight years old at the time. Two bad guys fighting?!? Am I supposed to like SId?!?

  • @Jose1382 I'm with you the first time I ever saw two heals battling it out was when Herculees took on the Barbarian in some randum Prime Time match in like early 1991. Herculees won the match with a classic pin with a foot on the rope move. Funny watching a heel win a match by cheating over another heel.

  • Atom Bomb !

  • @WeNeedSomeGolfShoes it was Halloween Havok "98

  • In fairness, I knew Bryan Clark (Nightstalker), he told me that he was still learning how to wrestle back then, didn't quite know how to maneuver in the ring. But it was still an interesting match.

  • I think Sid gets a bad rap from a lot of people,I mean he wasn't that great of a wrestler, but he got hugh pops whenever he went to the ring and was over more than probably some of the faces,I just think his personality and tendancy to mistreat other wrestlers kind of did him in!!!

  • five star classic!

  • lol I have to say this is the worst match I have ever seen by far

  • lol this was on the wrestling observers list of worst worked matches so I looked it up. lol @ JR "Vicious has got that big club like thing" It's an axe you dolt. This match was horrible, stuff like this is why people say wrestling is phony

  • 3:20 - the lethal PUSHING HIM INTO THE ROPES submission!

  • @Brainstrain That was hilarious.

  • This match made no sense. Nightstalker no sold everything, and when The Big Cat came in it made everything awkward.

  • hahahahaha that match was pretty bad...oh well

  • this was when sid really was a bad motherfucker, but the night stalker was a draw when wrestling in high school gym

  • lol @ nightstalker no-selling all of sid's offense

    no DQ?

  • That giant club thing. lol Yeah this match was entertaining but for all the wrong reasons. Can't believe Sid held the WWF and WCW Titles on multiple occasions.

  • haha seeing this match again after 19 years I can see how stupid it was but watching it at 9 years old was quite a sight to see two giants and a huge battle axe prop LOL it was about as cool as when The Berzerker tried to "kill" The Undertaker with that sword LOL

  • Star of the match: Jim Ross

  • damn right. They gave him nothing to work with and he still sold it like mad

  • I doubt it was a coincidence that motor city mad man replaced the nightstalker at starrcade 90 not long after this abortion of a match...

  • Comment removed

  • Nothing brings a big man down like throttling him in the neck with his plastic axe.

This was the good old days when it was enough for a brother just to walk down to the ring, get coldcocked then do a shitty run-in.

  • I remember looking forward to this feud and then being so disappointed after this match. A waste of two cool characters.

  • this was one of the worst matches I have ever seen. The missed spots and the ax push to Nightstalker to pin hm would not have hurt my mother. A pitiful match with 2 no-skilled wrestlers

  • Adams was about 6 weeks out of wrestling school he was very green then.

He went to become a good worker and was AJPW tag team champion.

  • Yeah, I remember thinking "who the hell is the Nightstalker"? They didn't give him any TV build up; choosing instead to debut him against the NWA's top heel (maybe except for Flair) on a "Clash of Champions" card.

  • Actually, this isn't Adamds. Its Clarke .

  • No wonder Dave Meltzer gave this match worst worked watch of the year...

No sell, botch move, pointless run in, and an AXE?? This was pre Russo, right!!! ;-)

  • Yes, Russo was still working in a video store at this point. Jim Herd was kind of an early Russo prototype.

  • Just as incompetent, but without the sexual content and nonsensical storylines.

  • I LOVED THIS MATCH...it's the one where Sid PUSHED Adam Bomb down with his own axe :P Classic. Also, Ric Flair beat Butch Reed in the main event and did this weird dance/gyration going back down the ramp lol. It was a great show

  • nightstalker is....wrath later bryan clarke...in wwf he was adam bomb

  • My God!

    That axe is huge!

They're lucky they didn't end up chopping someone's head off. Why didn't the officials make 'em remove that thing from the area?

    C'mon, ref!

  • It's not punk rock. It's wrestling. There was also a tag team called the Sex Pistols in NWA Cyberspace and a jobber named Al Greene in WCW. I'm sure I don't disappoint you in the irony there.

  • what a fucking idiot

  • The original Sid Vicous weighed like 130 pounds.

  • I think both wwe and wcw wanted to give bryan clark a huge push several times, but didn't ever seem to get his in ring skills to where they wanted it.

  • this match is totally gay

  • Bryan Clark, Sid Vicious, and a giant axe. That's WCW for you.

  • Don't forget the run-in from Mr. Hughes, confusing us even further to whom the heel is in this match.

  • Wrestling is staged so, these guys need to be not just great athletes but also good actors. I can tell Bryan Clark is a disaster as an actor and Sid, compared, should win an Oscar. Other great "actors" in my opinion were Rowdy Pipper, Bret hart, Ric Flair, Randy Savage, Bob backlund, Kevin nash and Jeff jarret. Hulk Hogan was mediocre...

  • Were they attempting to turn Sid face here? The fans loved him anyway in WCW early 90's.

  • 1:25 GAY. the bear hug is the gayest move ever especially when one guy jums into the other arms

  • horrible match. start to finish. case closed.

  • What a horrible finish!!!

  • What a horrible match.

  • Wow! Adam Bomb/Wrath/Bryan Clark of Kronik! He looks different without the beard!

  • Man, I'm really glad no one uses the bearhug anymore.

  • They don't?

  • It was a three-man team of the Nightstalker, Big Cat (Curtis "Mr." Hughes) and the Motor City Madman (Mike Moore). Big Cat beat Brad Armstrong earlier on the show and Luger beat the Madman. This match led to the Skyscrapers (Sid/Spivey) reuniting and squashing Madman/Hughes at Starrcade. Madman disappeared and Hughes was repackaged as bodyguard Mr. Hughes.

  • Jesus Christ, that was a bad match, but...I've seen worse. At least this was just a few minutes.

Sid carried this match! Nightstalker's selling was non-existant, and they gave him a "big club-like thing" for god's sake...how goofy was that?

  • Sid had the worst looking punches of all time

  • The early WCW ring was infamously small. I don't know the measurements were, but it couldn't be more than 12 feet across. It was made worse by featuring some of the biggest guys in the sport like the Skyscrapers, Steiners, LoD, Gigante, Vader, and others. I'd like to see Shane McMahon try his coast 2 coast in one of those rings.

  • the ring is two feet smaller than wwf was...I saw that on an interview when wcw was bought out and the wrestlers had to adjust...also they said the ropes in wcw were much tighter.

  • Ring is really small

  • Bryan Clark has the potential to be a top guy. He was a big guy with great athletic ability. He use to do drop kicks and clotheslines from the top rope. He did them with ease. Unlike wrestlers like Kane who's top rope moves look sloppy. WWE and WCW dropped the ball with Clark.

  • Bryan Clark sucked. He sucked real bad he has ALWAYS been a terrible wrestler. nobody dropped the ball they realized that besides a few decent lookng moves, ALL his ringwork sucked.he never improved that's why he's working nowhere..

  • Crush was terrible but Adam Bomb/Wrath was awsome.

  • Awful, this was supposed to be the start of Sid's face turn but this screwed it up. Nightstalker sold nothing not even being hit with an axe.

  • Do you have the match or the angle that started the doom vs horsemen feud? Thanks you have some great stuff.

  • Oh, man. I haven't seen this match since it first aired. It is legendary for its shittiness.

  • Kronic rules

  • I'm a Sid fan, but this match was pretty bad.

  • ....i was actually goofin' in regards to his altercation with Anderson, though i have no idea how close the two incidents took place

  • The Sid-Arn scissors incident was in England in late 1993.

  • he called sid lex lugar lol

  • Sid vs Brian Clark will never be an CLASSIC

  • huh...it's a "clublike thing" all these years i called em ax's

...wonder how he got a punctured lung anyway :p

  • to answer the16thtoothson's question. Sid got a broken rib during a tag match. The broken rib punctured his lung.

  • It happened during the Steiners-Skyscrapers match at Clash IX in November 89 after Scott attempted a fallaway slam on Sid.

    14172242 typed,

"Hey, weren't those two Adam Bomb and the Ice Train?"

Bryan "Nightstalker" Clark was Adam Bomb. Harold "Ice Train" Hoag debuted in WCW in 1993 and went on to accomplish basically nothing.

  • Train actually accomplished a few good matches

with the Steiners alongside Scott "Flash" Norton

  • That was Curtis Hughes aka Mr. Hughes, not Ice Train.

  • this match was not very good good thing it was short

  • yup nightstalker is bryan clarke akaadam bomb

  • Whose on commentary with JR??? It kinda sounds like Paul E. Dangerously, is it??

  • Yeah, that Paul E. In response to the person below, the Big Cat was Mr. Hughes, if I'm not mistaken.

  • maybe the worst match AND color commentary of all time? lol

  • this match sucks, take look to the minute 4:00

  • Terrible match. :(

    Good upload though.

  • Hey, weren't those two Adam Bomb and the Ice Train?

  • Damn...go back to wrestling school.

  • DO u have the live edition of the Danger Zone with Sting and the Black Scorpion or any matches with Oz

  • adam bomb sucks without the yellow contacts and beard

  • That match fucking sucked, and was fucking gay.

  • wasnt lex luger suposed to wrestle nightstalker and big cat? why'd sid end up wrestling those guys as they were both heels?they didnt do those sorta thing in those days or so i thought. made no sense to me!

  • Is that Adam Bomb?

  • Yeah.

  • Jim Ross could make a chess game exciting with his play by play.

  • Brian Clark always stank.
