  • damn mongo had to be the worse person to be a horsemen

  • @hbk2hhh No, that's Paul Roma.

  • Dean Malenko would do anything for Benoit???

    Surely not???

  • Just to state how bad AA's neck was: He was injured in 1994 and then never stopped to let his body recuperate for three years. How bad was it? They found a rib, possibly torn away from the spine during the accident, was popping in and out of joint. His left arm suddenly went numb and unresponsive during a match, and the only way to save it was to fuse two discs in his neck. He had to retire because he could no longer take bumps on his back or risk paralysis or even death.

  • @DevilTakeMe watch his greatest 80s wrestlers segment. it all started in 1989

  • Dean sounds like HBK

  • that is how u cut a promo...shoot or scripted,AA was the real deal...damn I miss the Horseman!

  • wah wah wah

why isnt Dean getting pushed.....that's all you ever used to hear from the smarks back in 1998

    This promo is why.....

Not bashing Malenko just saying it the way it is. Malenko belonged in cruiserweight & midcard tag teams & there is nothing wrong with that.

He was used far better in WCW then he was WWF.

  • @nWoWolfpacTV look at this promo. malenko and mongo nearly drowned this promo, arn saved it.

  • The horseman were a JOKE by this time.

  • @Sammys70....He had neck surgery

  • They added Mongo basically because they liked him and he fulfilled the power role like Sid or Barry Windham used to do. Unfortunately Mongo was not very skilled in the ring and he just walked away one night. Benoit, on the other hand, was every bit a true Horseman.

  • @TheMarkc He was pointing at the scar from when he broke his neck which resulted in him retiring

  • How hard was it for Dean to have to stand there and say that Mongo was gonna have a great career? How could he do that with a straight face?

  • Malenko says "Their careers are gonna go anywhere but up?"

  • Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham, JJ Dillion, Chris Benoit= best Horsemen ever!

  • Arn Anderson is one of the best!

  • this is an awesome fucking promo...

  • they were the best !!! the 4 horsemen

  • Hear that WWEkids? That's a promo.

  • @TheFdale LMAO. THATS FUNNY!!!!!

  • Mongo was a joke as a horseman. He was even worse than Paul Roma.Malenko was okay, but i still say this was weakest group that the horsemen had put out together during NWA/WCW.

  • @sammys70 deans voice sounds like Shaun Michaels

  • @sammys70 i dont know how the hell mongo ot in the 4 horsemen ? what was arn saying look at on his back for?

  • Well, Dean was right about one thing...Mongo's career went anywhere but up! LMFAO!!!!!!

  • wow...this brings back memories! great upload! this is one of the best promos ever executed...period!

  • Ric Flair had the fame. But It was Arn who was truly the best in the BIz!

  • I've been a fan of Professional Wrestling for most of my life and i don't think i have ever seen a wrestler who could cut a promo better than Arn Anderson!!!!! One of a kind!!!!

  • @Jesusfreak2112 Ever bro, i'm listenin to this over the b.s. that's Smackdown's Big Show and Daniel Bryan as it runs..

  • John Cena sells more action figures than Arn Anderson ever sold, back in the day. John Cena is the family-friendly, P.G., professional sports entertainment, action hero that these old school wrestlers never were. More little children go to sleep on WWE reruns, than they do having nightmares watching violent WWF, WCW, NWA, AWA, Mid-South old shool wrestling reruns. What has wrestling become?

  • @Buckeyecat2002 Garbege.

  • When Double A talks... You listen.

  • @jjhawksjj Double A is the man

  • Arn was fucking AWESOME. Mongo was garbage, how was he ever a horsemen?

  • @toadman842 He was only garbage if you compare him to the high standard of excellence set by Sid Vicious.

  • @toadman842 Same way Paul Roma was a Horseman. Promoters named the members. But, they both wore titles. The only horseman who never won a belt was Sid.

  • Say what you want, but the Enforcer knew how to cut a promo! Cena take notes!

  • "It means burying my grandmother in the morning, going to wrestle in the evening, and hell then I realize she wasn't dead. By the time the match was over it was too late, and my son pulled a hot iron onto his foot. But I had another match the next day so I stuffed the kid in the freezer and told my wife he'd hold another day. That's work ethic! My wife left me, and she took my son, but hell I'm a Horseman."

  • Comment removed

  • he makes cena's work ethnic seem pathatic.

  • HOLD THESE TONY! lololol

  • I meant Pillman.

  • @speedbuggy

Pillar was one of the best Horsemen, he was just different. He was crazy and chaotic instead of G.Q. and business-like.

  • dk why the hell that Arn is not in the WWE hall of fame!

  • Double A needs to really speak at schools, and colleges; show everybody going into the work force, what work ethic really is all about.

  • Mongo was a waste of time. Turned my stomach everytime he spoke. Every time he wrestled. Dean was a great wrestler not such a great speaker.

  • 4:27 ha hahaha ha

    great promo.

  • AA was still pretty damn built

  • can't be that hard to get into the Horseman if they let fucking Mongo in

  • @danpats1 eric bischoff works in mysterious ways...

  • @danpats1 Actually, when the Four Horsemen first formed in Jim Crockett Promotions, they were able to pick their own members but WCW came into existence, they picked who to put into the faction & that's why Mongo got in & even Brian Pillman, who I forget sometimes was a Horsemen.

  • @speedbuggy According to Arn, the only one who was never a horseman, was Jeff Jarrett.

  • @KingKong317 I just read on Wikipedia & you are correct, Arn said in his autobiography that Double J. was never a Horseman, but I didn't see that it said he was the only one that was never a Horseman & also read via Wikipedia - "The Four Horsemen usually pick their own members, but at the time, WCW held extreme control over storylines and this may have forced them to accept a member for those purposes only and not by choice." so maybe there were others they wouldn't have had in the group

  • @speedbuggy When they were able to pick their own members, even though flair was the flagship, arn was the final authority bc as indicated by his promo here -- the work ethic, brotherhood, etc, he believed in it the most.

  • "their careers are going to go anywhere but up" WTF?

  • This Promo is why Arn is the best promo in Wrestling. After Malenko's stilted and un-natural sounding spiel, Arn saves it. Total fucking brilliance.

  • Comment removed

  • Go ahead, put some bass in it Arn.

  • They really don't make wrestler like Arn Anderson anymore. Seriously. Does anyone cut promos with 1/10th the fire that Arn does? I could watch this guy's promos all day. They seem so legit, and he does them right on the spot.

  • @MrBranh0913 100% accuracy for your comment.

  • @MrBranh0913 Only Flair who coincidently was a horseman also.

  • @danpats1 I think flair's promos were great; but arn's made you think. kind of like jake the snakes promos.

  • It's too bad Benoit was out with a broken elbow during this but Dean was a nice substitute to try to get the ball rolling so to speak.

  • lol @ mongo

  • malenko=originall iceman

  • Coolest theme song ever

  • malenko's promo............fffffffeeeeeeel the charismaaaaa

  • Great segment, and AA belongs in the Hall of Fame. But I have to add this: here comes Mongo.

  • Dean Malenko said Mongo and Benoit's career can go "anywhere but up". He's right about Mongo.

  • DEAN MALENKO WAS ONE HELL OF A WRESTLER HE WAS TRULY A MAN OF 1,000 MOVES -NOTHING FAKE ABOUT HIM

  • the greatest wrestlers of all time together.........arn anderson and dean malenko

  • @arnanderson2 And Mongo.

  • Gotta love Double A.

  • "They're going to have careers that go anywhere, but up."

Well, he was right about Mongo at least.

  • @highroad214 How did Dean go up in anyway shape or form

  • @ecwecwecw1 Joining the 4Horsemen (the most popular stable in wrestling history beyond the nWo or D-X) and winning the WCW Tag Team Titles with Benoit...had to beat being in the Cruiserweight Division.

  • @highroad214 I disagree. The year before he was the US champion and before this he was in one of the best cruserweight fudes with Chris Jericho. Sure joining the Horsemen is good but he was considered the 4-rate horseman being the newest (Say what you want about Mongo but he had personality.) HE then was completely fucking runied in WWF so I really don't see how this made him better.

  • @highroad214 I misread this at first.

  • This is a good one... but I think the best Anderson promo of all time was the one he delivered after Flair kicked the crap out of the Bootyman... "Intense pain, Gene Okerlund, is a wonderful thing..."

  • Great promo by AA. Quite frankly, Malenko was quite boring at the mic there, thank the heavens AA took it.

  • wow!

  • HERE COMES MONGO
