@rubyredmedia Well you didn't grow up with this cartoon, I did and back in the good old days it was concidered the best thing out there and brings back a lot of good memories for those that grew up Watching Gumby. it was simple told a good story , fun to watch Cartoons may have improved on Animation over the yrs but nothing bets the Classics like Gumby , Bugs and company, Popeye, Tom and Jerry ect. which are way better then todays cartoons.

What you posted had a copyright date of 1967. But that wasn't the original series. Gumby first had his own show back in 1957, with additional new episodes being sporadically created in 61-63 and then again in 66-68.

Good point! That was just meant as a sample, not the original one..(Gumby actually, forgetting 1957, goes back even further, to 1955-1956, having made his debut on the "Howdy Doody" show. Yes, that includes the earlier episodes where he acts like Casper, the Friendly Ghost in his 1950s Harvey shorts and acts like a child. THOSE were even earlier than 1957..)

The new intro for the 80's show I admit I was not found of but I don't hate it.
