Back in the Swedish Army we had this great system of telling the driver what to do when he could not see anything of what was going on.. ..for parking terrain cars between trees in the forest.

Basically you use predefined hand signals to control the car as if you had a playstation controller in your hands.

Key is - driver only obeys the hands and doesn't try to second guess by looking into mirrors. Works great!!!!
