  • Talk about a

    (puts on sunglasses)

    a hair-raising monster movie

    YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

  • i saw the picture on monsters and beats cocnept art.com or something like that.. and thought lol i need to see this trailer.. beyhold youtube!

  • OMG It's Clifford on a bad hair day

  • den godzilla comes by and kills em just by looking at em

  • Gojira is still un opposed to the throne for king of the monsters

  • @vader19907 DAMN RIGHT MOTHERFUCKER

  • @vader19907 Showdown with Gamera?

  • I ordered the Japanese blu-ray of "Long And Dark Haired Monster Geharha". Have watched it several times. Awesome film. I also purchased the Tokyo Shock/Media Blasters blu-ray release of "Death Kappa". It is not bad. I also purchased the dvd of "Demeking" and it has a very misleading cover. It is not a kaiju film. The monster appears in like a 3 minute dream sequence and that's it.

  • @luvindogadis411 really? where did you get it? i really wanna see this movie

  • @CrackedStyle You can get it from yesasia and play-asia. The blu-ray is region A with English subtitles.

  • @luvindogadis411 aren't blu-rays region free?

    It has subtitles? Bad ass.

  • @egdeltur666 Some blu-rays are region free. But many are region encoded and region locked. United States, Japan and Hong Kong share the same region of "A". "Long And Dark-Haired Monster Geharha" is region A and it does have English subtitles. The same with "Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle". These are two essential blu-ray discs to own.

  • the days of making a realistic dark and serious kaiju film are over NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • @movieartman Agree. That ended with "GMK: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack" in 2001 directed by Shusuke Kaneko when Gojira had those ghastly all-white eyes and hated humans. He deliberately burned up and smashed humans in that film. Now, I will buy the import blu-ray of "Gehara", the import dvd of "Deep Sea Monster Raiga" and the domestic blu-ray release of "Death Kappa" next week to support the genre but the serious Kaiju film seems to be gone. Not sure about "Monster X Strikes Back".

  • @luvindogadis411 sadly monster x is undiscriblably even more campy and childish than those other films witch is really sad cus the orriginal film the x from outer space while yes campy as hell even for the 60s was in my opinion a very good and fun moster film and much better than the 70s gamera fims

question do you know any thing about the first film Deep Sea Monster Reigo being released in the usa i know the sequel raiga is but dont know if reigo will be

  • @movieartman Haven't heard anything on "Reigo". Yeah, the 70's Gamera films weren't so good; especially Zigra. That was terrible. I hope "Death Kappa" is good. But once again, Media Blasters/Tokyo Shock has delayed another release. Websites have posted that the blu-ray and dvd are delayed from July 27th to September 21st. So tired of this. :( Not so sure if I will import the blu-ray of "Gehara". The film is only like 21 minutes long.

  • "Gehara" is a parody, but an intelligent parody and a tribute to the Kaiju Eiga genre at the same time.

I can only hope a DVD release makes it to the U.S..

  • Very cool. Any word on a North American DVD release?

  • Gonna order the blu-ray version. It is a Region A Japan only release; but it does has English subtitles. Just wish that the movie was longer than 20 some minutes. It is the return of the Kaiju film. Still need "Deep Sea Monster Raiga" also.

  • they should make a new Godzilla Movie!

  • Very awesome!
