Another reason I'm glad RTD is gone from "Doctor Who". Not because Tovey IS gay BUT because Davies felt like he HAD to put openly gay actors for the sake of them being OPENLY gay...(I suspect Chris Eccleston left because of this after one season because CE allused he was raised a bit more "conservative")... In "Torchwood", I could/can accept that as fine due to it's inherently more "Mature" subject matter, but am so releaved Moffat has made it where we can have DW as just "fun" without agendas

I'm assuming this program is coming out of the UK. I'm not sure exactly if this is a sitcom of some type - but the acting and dialogue is some of the best I have ever seen (in a gay-themed context). They are really good here.
