  • @LORDHATE76 Waylon is cool, David Allen Coe is a racist piece of garbage. DAC shoudnt even be mentioned next to Waylon. Listen to Waylons America...red, black, or white AMERICA !

  • Surely one of the best country music concerts ever recorded -Waylon, Moon and the band firing on all cylinders. My friends ask me to put the DVD on every time they visit.

  • Country is the heart of America!

  • The girl singin' at the left is Jennifer Eddy. Jessie's daughter by Duane Eddy.

    An U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-LE talent.

  • @0911smokey Must of been a Taylor Swift fan. Reality and good music shock them.

  • Now this is music...

  • AWESOME...!!!

  • Waylon could pick one for sure ,for sure; He came a long way since Buddy Hollies days in 1959. I guess the stars had something for this man named "WAYLON"

  • That's a mighty fine a pickin' an' a playin' an' singin' on yonder youtube... TEN thumbs up!!!

  • Just another occasion when the Moon outshines all the other stars.

  • @LORDHATE76 you cant forget merle my friend

  • Waylon was one of my favorites.Country music is missing artists like Waylon. It's mostly cross over pop and not true country anymore. This was probably said of Waylon and Hank Jr. back in the day but to me, it's way too pop to be considered country now .

  • when the lord called him to rest, we lost one of the best

  • @LORDHATE76 PLAY THE GAMBLER!

  • Pick it moon

  • Man, like the faster tempo he put on this one!

  • some kind of bad!!..waylon is the best

  • such great stuff...such a great song writer....my kids know the words to most of his songs!!!!!

  • Hard, tough, unsentimental Texas-country. Boy, I love this! Loved Waylon even more than Cash in the 70s and 80s. Cash came back with a vengeance later on. Anyhow, those two guys are my top country heroes!

  • @LORDHATE76 C'Mon Kenny is alright!

  • One of my all-time favorite country songs. You just can't beat Waylon. Added bonus having good ol' Ralph Mooney on the Pedal Steel!!!

  • anyone know who is playing pedal steel??

  • Happy Birthday Waylon and RIP!

  • Who doesn't love that intro?

  • WAYLON=LEGEND. we miss u Hoss.

  • I love the sound of his guitar

  • One of the best country dvds ever made. The perfect Waylon concert.

  • Take a deep breath

    2. Think about the one you love

    3. Press ''F10'' 5 time

    4. Send it to 5 video on youtube

    5. Look at your background

  • What kind of guitar does Waylon use?

  • the brand is called fender and the model is called a telecaster, hope that helps :)

  • fender telecaster

  • Any idea what year it was made? I saw one identical to it in a guitar shop in Nashville. It was a vintage 1971 model or so the tag said.

  • The decoration on Waylon'''s Telecasters was done custom for him.

  • you know what i think...i think its a damn shame i cant wear my cowboy boots to school without lookin like an asshole to everyone....we need more people like waylon in the world and a shit load more of this music an maybe the world would be a better place

    Baker.

    NB Canada

  • wear 'em and be your own kinda cool.....that's what I do :-)

  • screw kenny chesney and the other new counrty singers we need some willie nelson and some merle haggard and a hole crap load of waylon jennings. And yes i am a redneck and a cowboy and i really love the old counrty music

  • gotta love the rednecks more than the yankees, they seem to be much friendlier in the South!

  • The piano reminds me of Rock and Roll Led Zepp...........All great. Alittle up tempo though, i never liked when artists up the tempo in concert..........Shooter...........

  • Ever played live for an audience before? I have, and its a rush. Its just a little bit hard to not speed up when you've got mass amounts of adrenaline coursing thru your veins.

  • Terrific.Just love the whole video.Wow!

Thanks for this.Waylon Jennings was fantastic.

    The keyboard playing was cool.

  • Sure don't make country like this anymore. God Bless Waylon

  • Gotta love the Moonster on steel!!

  • yes you sure do!! In my eyes he is everybit as good as Waylon with his talent.

  • Awesome and funky, Love the growl! Saw Waylon and Jessi at a restaurant in Austin 8-10 years ago. Felt like I was in the presence of the Lord.

  • I hate to sound blasphemous, but I felt the same way, when I saw him in concert in Nuermburg, Germany many years ago.

  • I visited his grave recently. I live in Mesa, Arizona, and when I went to see my uncle, Kelly Bruce Bethard, and my grandpa, Lewis Douglas Sweeney, my other grandpa, William D. Bethard had to go see Waylon's grave. It took forever to find, since we were looking in the wrong spot, but my mum found it. Its such a beautiful headstone, and such a huge one at that. Lol. Anyways, Waylon Rocks. Rest in peace!

  • None above those three, for sure!

  • God Bless Dixie!

  • He's Waylon, he's a Highwayman and he's Good. That's all !!!

  • those are so not the lyrics but its his song so fuck you... lol

    also dobro automaticly =bluegrass?

  • Moon (steel guitar) carries this and many of Waylon's songs. Hit it, Moon!

  • No way. They complimented each other well. They made those guitars speak to each other.

  • played this song last night at a New Year party as bluegrass on dobro sounded good to everybody there

  • There we go! One of the best singers and performers there was and will ever be :) He is dearly missed.

  • It's funny, because I'm a big fan of punk and old country and Waylons stuff is the best mix of both. You don't even have to speed it up. Throw a little more fuzz on the guitar, drop some junkies behind Waylon instead of the mid-nineties backup singers and you've got one of the best punk songs ever written.

  • This is a really nice version, and Moon sounds as good as ever, but nothing can top the "Waylon Live" effort in 74. Wish we had video of that performance!

  • I got the Johnny Cash Live in Austin Texas. These DVDs are great. They put some of best song on there too!

  • HOT stuff! Waylon in classic form with his Mosby covered Tele (it's not painted that way, but has a Tele shaped leather 'case' covering the body of the guitar, made by Mosby Guitars! Elvis and Rick Nelson had similar 'cases' covering their Martin flat tops way, way back!). And that steel guitar guy (goddammit, can't remember his name!) is flawless. Awesome stuff! Hank C...

  • Brilliant clip.Thanx.

  • R.I.P. Waylon Jennings

    1937-2002

  • One of the enduring jewels of Waylon's legacy is the full range he allowed his instrumentals - his own and the Waylor's. The book is full of classics on pedal steel, harmonica, drums, fiddle and that old white-faced Tele of his. RIP, Hoss...

  • Yes;I love the instrumentals on this great track..2.07 Bliss.

    Love it all.

  • folks, THIS is country music!!!

  • Him and Ol' Hank are king in my book.

  • This is from my very favorite country dvd. Great stuff! What a mean, tough texas rhythm, what musicians, and Waylon, the best damn country artist ever!

  • What is the DVD? Sure would like to have it for some Saturday night!

  • This is great stuff

Thanks for putting this up for us to remember such a great talent

Waylon may be gone but his mus will be in the heart sof many people around the world a very long time
