  • Great job mate!

  • great!!!!!

  • @rugonie thank you!!

  • Got your response and then watched it again with a friend. Guess there's a bunch of ways to do this American favorite. This FUNK is unique and enjoyable.gonna go look for your other stuff. UTUBE is my life.

  • very good!

  • @soopadeelux right on soop, thanks. can't believe that you free-styled the A-team theme song on your channel! wow. nice.

  • Wow, I was just rambling around the tube when I uncovered this. Outstanding and if you think I'm joking. I watched it twice. I'm a utuber, and I only do that when it's good. This was a twicer. Really good stuff.

  • @acchokiefan thanks for watching twice AND taking the time to comment - believe me, i know how long 10 minutes of attention is these days... I'm glad you dug it.

  • amazing!!

  • @diggit03 thanks for the feedback.

  • Hi, just got a RC-20XL as a bonus in a part ex deal and was looking for demos to get an idea of its use, glad I found you! class song and a acoustic player at last (like myself) well done man love it, got to try laying down some beats like that very impressed to say the least keep up the good work.

    Phil

  • @M6MRP nice. these pedals are a blast - i think you will really dig it once you get past the modest learning curve. let me know when you get some video of you looping posted. thanks for your comment.

  • Love it !!!

  • @meantimegb right on, thanks.

  • nice cover!!!! i really like the groove of this! when you want to loop your voice do you plug your mic in straight to the station? i'm also thinking about getting this pedal, and i'm would like to know whether it's good to use for my type of playing. not too much guitar, but mostly vocals. i would like an honest opinion from a user :) thank you!

  • @mg3kim hello. the loop pedal has 2 1/4 inch inputs, so you could plug in both an instrument and a microphone if you wanted to. i have never used a microphone with the pedal - instead i have a TC-Helicon Harmony-G pedal which creates vocal harmonies on the fly in real time (i recently posted a few videos using that one too). If I did plug a microphone into the loop pedal, i think i would use it mostly for playing tambourine and shakers etc.. Hope that helps, let me know what you choose to do.

  • My favorite cover ever. Amazing grove. Your a natural.

  • @Williebye i appreciate the high-compliment Williebye. big wheel keep on turning...

  • Awesome man! Really like the funkie version!

  • @ollywood123 sweet, glad you dug it.

  • very good job friend!

  • @fioriperalgernon thank you kindly.

  • Very creative and funky interpretation..the best of what music is about..cheers mate!

  • @TheShagRocker cheers to you - i appreciate the positive feedback.

  • Fack dude, thats totally cool, best version! I stealin it for the stage, be happy to mention u! Thx

    B

  • @Bartdude44 steal away Bart - rock that CCR! i keep finding songs that work great with this pedal... more soon, stay tuned.

  • what kind of pedal are you using?

  • @Resurectionofshawn Boss RC-20XL loop station.

  • That was fantastic! You did a grate job with this, very nice :)

  • @mysticlv1 right on - thanks mystic... gotta love some John Fogerty.

  • yesterday i have bought the boss rc20xl only $2xx now!!!

    w w w . cheapbuy-online . c o m / boss-rc-20xl

    you think it expensive?

  • I wanna dance!!! great

  • @ponkieponk77 don't let me stop ya. lol. thanks for the comment.

  • cool

  • @gordon86512 thanks

  • Cool! I'm thinkin of getting one of these too, would you recommend? It seems fairly easy to use, what would you say?

  • @juliad1964 i would definitely encourage you to check it out julia - technically the pedal has a slight learning curve but is not at all 'difficult' to use, and i can tell from your channel that you have no shortage of talent or creativity, so i think you would enjoy it and find a lot to do with it. i have never taken a close look at the RC-2 single-footprint model but it has me curious.

  • Love it!

  • @jcmcgarry27 alright, i am glad to hear it! more coming soon, check back.

  • nice funky slow beat

  • Respond to this video... right on, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, i appreciate it.

  • i guess i am going to have to learn to use my rc-20xl better ahaha

  • @ed0985587 rock that pedal ed. i've been meaning to set up the camera and do a demo video of what i've learned about this pedal so far.... i gotta do it.

  • @jamoja1 that would be awesome man!! i've been looking for one but can't find one that has straight to the point info on it's features. i've only owned the pedal about a week but I am having a lot of fun with it so far just riffing over some rhythm guitar i recorded on it.

  • watching some of your other videos you are really a master of this pedal! definitely look forward to seeing a demo!!!

  • @ed0985587 thanks for the compliment Ed, I feel like there is still so much to learn about this pedal - but I have definitely figured out some of the fundamentals that helped me turn a corner working it out. i'll try to get a demo done soon man, so much time so little to do.... ha.

  • Great! From Italy =)

  • @batmontz Grazie mille my friend

  • Realy sweet cover dude.

    Keep on doing that.

    Greetz Jerom

  • @Jeroen251275 thanks Jerom, i don't plan to stop any time soon man lol, thanks for listening and commenting.

  • thumbs up!! steady like a slow train coming.

  • @jeroenhoekzema sweet, thanks for the metaphor.

  • WOW...

  • @bunguy66 thanks for the comment.

  • Just bought my pedal today! You got it man, Keep on jammin

  • @seanbkoi right on Sean, rock that thing. i'm planning to record a short pedal demo video soon so check back...

  • Hey, man... I like the arrangment!

  • @vincekornegay thanks bro. you've got a hell of a voice vince, i'm looking forward to hearing more.

  • This is brilliant!! i just got this model today.. you make it look so easy!! Would you advise it for live gigs??

  • @coreyKAPOW hey Corey - this pedal is great for solo gigs. i had mine for a while before i brought it out, but once you get through the steepest part of the learning curve it falls into place pretty quickly and can open up a lot of possibilities. much of the time i even just create simple rhythm parts to play to so i don't have to worry about chord changes at all... it's wild how many percussive tones you can make with pick, hand, acoustic. lol. i'm hoping to record a pedal demo soon, check back

  • dude this is great keep it up

  • @James57433 right on James.

  • It would have been more exciting if you spun around in a slinky white dress but maybe not for that arrangement.

    Kidding, sounds great man!

  • @jimmycmpit hey, wow - scary visual LOL. thx man.

  • You're a true musician dude! I enjoyed that!

  • @guitarmanwannabe thanks for that kind compliment, that is what i aspire to...

  • MUY BUENO!!!! CONGRATS!!!!

    Javier, Bahia, BR

  • gracias Javier - and thanks for subscribing too.

  • That's an awesome video there! What acoustic is that? It sounds quite lovely!

  • @guitarinsteve thanks man - i am playing an Ibanez AW, but I think at least half of the tone is the result of the iBeam pickup I put in it... i tried a lot of different pickups and this one is my favorite so far and I have been using it for years.

  • WOW!!! I'm a big fan of CCR and that was the first time I have heard a cover like that.. that was brilliant, loved it........you kicked ass!!

  • @aussie761 hey thanks aussie - sorry i never replied to your comment, i just saw it - i appreciate the positive feedback.

  • Awesome Job!! ... I am trying to figure out how you layed the kickdrum in. Is the kickdrum a metronome option?

With the rc 20 can you assign a sound and a loop to the same pedal

  • @MrBlue6string with this pedal it has a tap tempo option, meaning you press this button then start tapping at your own tempo and the pedal will keep the tempo.

  • @MrBlue6string yes, as unholy replied, the pedal has a guide tone to set the tempo and the default sound is a kickdrum - it has a few other tones you can change to as well like cowbell and wood block, but so far i have really only used the kick - i like it too because you hear a high-hat as well on the ONE so you can keep track of where you started your loop.

  • I can easily take a nap before you start singing!!!!!!!!! zzzzzzz zzzzz

  • One of my fav's brother good job it is hard to impress me!

  • @ModestRoots1 thanks mah man - i'm glad you dug it.

  • the was excellent man i really want one of those...whats the difference from this one and the original loop station?

  • @AwkwardDodd hey, thanks man - i'm not totally positive about the difference between the original RC20 and the XL version I have, but i believe the main difference is that the 20XL allows you to UNDO the very last phrase you recorded when you are building a loop. There is also an RC2 which is 1 pedal size and i believe is mostly just missing the 2nd/microphone input. Check them out, I have been messing with it for a few years and it's still unfolding...

  • @jamoja1 cool thanks for the heads up

  • Very cool got me foot tapping .

I think i might get meself one of those seem like great fun.

    Well done great playing.

    Wayne

  • @wanna31 thanks Wayne. nice SG you're playing. looks like the stuff you're doing is already suited to looping. nothing like being able to be your own rhythm player. lol.

  • This is fantastic. Are you running your vocals (mic) through the Loop Station into one amp as well? If so, you have mastered the usefulness of that pedal...

  • @boscoblue thanks man. no vocals into the loop pedal yet... but I have seen some folks do that to great effect. I put a mic through mine a couple of times but mostly played hand percussion like shakers and claves into it. i feel like there is still a lot to explore.

  • This is nice!

  • @rafaelg45 thanks.

  • @drdjninja somehow I bet he doesn't play and instrument, and he had to say something that makes you look smaller than him.

I think you did and incredible job, I have one of these and I can assure anyone that this not as easy as make it appear. You have to have rythmn, to be able to play, and to make a rhytmn track that he can use for the whole song, and not make it sound boring is a incrediible task. 5 stars for you jamoja1

  • @plbproductions thanks Peter, i appreciate the feedback.

  • Fine and dandy....but using the loop pedal as a drum machine and nothing else seems pretty lame as far as this contest goes.

  • @drdjninja OK man, I hope criticizing my entry made you feel better is some way. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

  • absolutely love this cover. made me look into the pedal. love it

  • @seenmelately i appreciate the positive feedback. have you messed with the loop pedal yet?

  • Nice>,,,does the CR-20XL have distortion sound ?

  • @darcort no man, but it will loop any effect you play into it. if you watch some of my more recent videos you will see me using my distortion, delay, and phase with the RC20-XL.

  • can you export your recorded files on this? I mean can you create an mp3 ore wav file?

  • @romekdo77 I believe that I can pull the audio off of the original video file. If you want me to give it a shot send me your email address and I'll see what I can do.

  • Wow! Great feel, great rhythm. Very new and creative take on an old classic tune. Your cover rocks!

  • @Radioviewer thanks man - it's wild how the loop pedal will sometimes alter how i approach a song. it has been fun to re-visit stuff i have been playing for years and see what happens when i start looping it. lol, it's like the damn pedal has a mind of its own (seriously).

  • what chords are you using?

  • @graham611 hey graham, if you look at the earlier comments on this video i shared the chord progression shortly after posting it. enjoy.

  • Fantastic version of Proud Mary! A DIAMOND JASON

  • @musicodeoido thanks man, i enjoyed the music on your page too. sing, sing while you know you're still living...

  • Sick! I couldn't stop my head from bobbing.... Great feel...nice rythmns....Just picked up the RC 50...experimented alot with the RC20xl... great job!

  • @sbjc4ever thanks for the positive words man, i'll be looking for your vids with that RC-50, I saw that thing in a catalog and it looks out of control.

  • Very nice groove on this one.

    Great job!

  • Great Rendition! Is the Kick Drum on the right pedal a standard feature?

    THX!

  • @STinBV yes, the kickdrum is a standard feature on the rc20-xl - and you can change the tone from kickdrum to click, wood block, cow-bell, and a few others - but i haven't messed with those too much, i just leave mine on kickdrum. i have been wanting to experiment with some of the others 'more cowBELL'.

  • @jamoja1 THANKS! I will probably get the RC-20xl because of you (...I'll tell my wife it's your fault...) I think I should watch this video before I break out my guitar and practice. It just really taps into the "beat"... Good Stuff!!!

  • @STinBV lol, no problem man, i'll take the blame! i have videos of other looped songs too. take a look at the RC-2 pedal too... theyve made some updates since i got my rc-20 and the RC-2 looks sweet (plus i think it's a little cheaper and just a single pedal size). let me know how it's going when you start looping.

  • Fantastic! I need to learn how to use my looper to do even 1% of what you just did, very cool!

  • @AxeTrader work that pedal axetrader, the learning curve is a little steep at first, but once you get it down it will start flowing.

  • Oh man I love CCR and you did an amazing job with this cover!! BRAVO ;)!

  • @seemiasay thanks

  • Uuuhh Yeah.

You got some skills , my Man. This cover is smokin

I'm new to making music...I get little frustrated sometimes...but You come across something like this and Bamb.

You're inspired to keep moving forward.

Thanks and keep it up... Nelson

  • right on Nelson. keep writing, playing, and singing man. thanks for listening.

  • Great cover, love the loop station, just bought one myself.....any suggestions for other songs that loop stations work well for?

  • sure man, i have a few more vids on here of songs i am looping... and there's a few other great ones like Feeling Alright and The Joker that are good fun.

  • Very, very cool ;)

  • thanks bro.

  • want one, right now. Love it .Keep on Rockin..Hiiiihaaa....

  • right on MrMr. do it!

  • How good!

  • thanks.

  • Great ! The best version of that song ever heard !

  • LOL. Thanks. don't tell John Fogerty!

  • This is very cool. I got one of these as a gift this year. It has so much more on it than I have learned to use yet. Plan on doing any instrucional stuff onhow to use it? that would be great. thanks

  • that is a good idea Bcal - i ave had this pedal for a few years and at first the learning curve was pretty steep... but once you get the basics down it gets easier. i agree though, i have barely scratched the surface of the possibilities I see in this pedal....

  • Im so glad I've watch this video cos I was really wondering whether to get this pedal and this has really insipred me! just about it order it now - Thanks!

    Love the work mate!

  • right on bud. did you get the pedal yet? do you love it?

    thanks for the positive feedback.

  • one of my new favorites

  • I was looking for demos of this looper and stumbled across your demo. Just wanted to say this is a crazy good and cool version of this song! Really enjoyed!

  • right on, thanks.

  • Oh man. Really cool.

I've just got a Line6 Rifftracker to practice loops with; but you're performance was way ahead of me. Nice job.

  • thanks - i've never seen that line6 device. i gotta check that out.

  • Just got one of these for Christmas, am excited about the possibilities.

Thanks for the video and inspiration

  • you're welcome. let me know when you post some vids of yourself rocking that pedal projoiner.

  • Hey now, I wish I was better about replying to each comment when they're posted. I really do appreciate anyone taking the time to leave a note, and thanks for all the positive feedback.

  • this is the best cover of proud mary and is the best looper demo too great job great rythum

  • Thanks Rickey - gonna try to get some more recorded and posted soon, can't believe i put these up a year ago... it do fly.

  • What a creative rendition. If you don't have a tour going on, you sure deserve one.

  • super great cover 5 stars

  • Damn good performance man ! 5*****`s

  • That's brilliant. I'm gonna get one of these on the strength of your performance. Many thanks.

  • Excellent. 5 stars. Question. How do I hook my mic through my vocal harmonizer into my loop or vice versa? Thanks.

  • hey man, thanks for the props. i just started messing with a harmonizer myself and am still working it out. i know it has to come BEFORE the loop if you want to loop the harmonies - and i always keep the loop LAST in my signal chain anyhow. if the harmonizer only has an XLR out, like mine, you'd need a Femal XLR to male 1/4" cable to run from the harmony into the Loop Mic in. but this will put your Git and Voc in one channel! i am just not gonna run mine into the loop pedal. hope that helps.

  • wow bro, i have an rc20 too and i've just rediscovered it practically. its a pretty cool little machine. although i haven't really gotten into it like you do though.

  • great groove..slow and easy like the riverboat wheels chuggin thru the mighty Mississippi!

  • To be honest I forgot I had favorited your video - I came back to it and was pleasantly surprised again.

From one musician to another: You deserve 100x the amount of views for such a good performance.

  • Thanks for the props man. i'm planning to get some more videos posted on here soon - i hope you check them out when i do.

  • Very nice video! That was amazing :]

  • amazing ! ! ! WOW !! BEST COVER !

  • Sweet! Superb! Excellent! Inspiring! Every guitar player should own an RC20-XL Boss Loop Station. I just got mine!! ;^)

  • I'm a fellow looper, that is awesome...very cool!

  • Hello! I need a looper and decided to get a boss, but dude, i'm reaaaaally confused about what to get. I'm between the RC-2 and the RC-20XL, can't decide. So please, what would you recomend? It's for rehearsal and live performances. i'm ins a 2 men band, just me and a drummer, so what should I get?

    Thank you VERY MUCH!

  • Being a fellow guitar player, I have to say that this is excellent, I love the way you made this your own.

  • By the way your the one with all the positive vibes.

Just love your music and style.

  • Thanks. That helps lots.

  • Sure B.

On the verse i'm playing G (with the bass note movement being a walk from F to F# to G)

the chorus goes to D (big wheels keep on....) then C (Proud Mary keep on....) then back and forth from G to C

    the turnaround is Bb - G - Bb - G - Bb, G, F, Eb, C - G

    hope that makes sense.

thanks to all of you folks for the positive vibrations.

  • Could you share the chording with a newbe?

    Love your style and presentation.

    Thanks.

  • Great cover! Pure talent!

  • Fantastic job! It is impossible to keep still while listening to this and you obviously enjoyed yourself. Thanks.

  • super!!!

  • great!

  • I never did like this song, until now! Great job!

  • fantastic groove!!! 5 stars

  • YEEEHAWW! That's talent right there.

  • OMG this is cool

  • you did it!!! it's awesome!!!

  • very very good! 5 stars
