I love Conduit 2 alot and it's awesome ! :) The enemy A.I are really tough and smart when you are playing on a higher difficultylevel. This game has really amazing and high tech graphics and one of the best looking Wii-game i have seen :) . The bossfights were fun and epic as well.
The multiplayer is amazing like in GoldenEye 007 on Wii and it works more smoothly now then in the first game because of the hackers.

Motion controlls are the best for first person shooters,it not a gimick,it actually makes accuracy way better and it just makes the over populated boreing fps genre feel fun again,if i play Call of duty Black Ops,Mw1 or world at war on and xbox or ps3 it is boreing,play it on the wii and it is amazeing,controlls can do alot for a game,looking forward to the wii u so i can play powerfull fps games with my wii zapper

@s0nic777 It's suprising but it actually is. I have been gaming on the PS3 for a while, picked up a Wii cheap now, and bought Goldeneye and conduit 2, it took a little getting use too at first, but the controls are great, especially for the games that allow you to tweak them. It's really a good feeling and much more intuitive than any analog stick (even though I am pretty good at PS3 shooters since I have been playing them for a while).

I really think Nintendo would get back in the console race if they just made a new SNES and came out with a bunch of original and different games. God damn the 1st conduit was probably one of the most terribly designed shooters I have ever played. Sure if all you have it a Wii it must have been amazing. But if you've spent even a second on the PC or Xbox or PSWhatever you will be hating it within minutes. Terrible controls, poorly designed levels, and oh yeah let's just throw in this little ball thing you have to point at invisible spots all over the level. Yeah that's clever.
I loved the first Conduit and I will be picking this one up too. Thanks for the review. I for one am glad High Voltage and Sega brought this game out. Too bad so many people did not give it a chance. High Voltage is one of the few outside of Nintendo and Retro Studios who could really make the Wii sing. In many ways they remind me of CORE and what they did for the Sega CD. I still hope the Grinder is coming.

@Simok1234 A better price for a console with bad graphics and a bad gimmick, the whole waving around a controller is just stupid and tedious, an old regular controller like the SNES had is much better, and a lot of games of the Wii only support the Wii controller which makes a lot of games bad (Metroid Prime 3 and Donkey Kong Country Returns for example, horrible controls).
And the Wii U is far behind the PC, and at most slightly above the PS3 and 360 and will succumb to the PS4 and new Xbox.

in this case, this is a FPS, its point and shoot and the IR pointer is arguably the best part of the wiimote, its not about waving around at all, but its a more accurate way to shoot and the closes to keyboard and mouse playing these 2 methods for certain games like FPS's and strategy games make them superior alot of the time

But i've ALWAYS hated aiming with an analog stick: It's slow and imprecise, takes forever to get used to....
The IR pointer is a great alternative to the mouse (Mouse and aiming= A match made in heaven) because, it's a POINTING DEVICE unlike moving a stick around trying to get your aiming to align..... Since consoles (usually) don't support mice, IR pointer is the closest experience....
The Conduit 1 was more of a personal favorite for me. I enjoyed it a little more than others but this was sadly a very disappointing sequel. The Conduit might have taken itself a little seriously, but it made the story itleast a little interesting. Conduit 2 had some jokes by switching the voice to John St. John (voice of Duke Nukem) while its funny, it has nothing to do with the original. A decent game is easy to take in, a disappointing sequel hurts :P
@Samuslovr1 whats wrong with the patches? Its FIXING the game. The stealth patch was the best patch yet. At launch it still had a good amount of issues.

Plus on top of that, Ive had times where the stealthers were spawn killing so 2 seconds after you respawn, you die. How is that fair? we get no way of knowing where they are gonna be.the new stealth is much more fair.
@Simok1234 Its called strategy you dumbass. You can't just walk around la la la la la and not expect to die. Consttantly check your surroundings. Most stealth users can be utterly destroyed by a long range weapon, such as the scar. And spawnkilling? When you spawn you have a slight window of invincibility. Pull out a smaw and obliterate them. Done dealt with. You can still see them, but not on radar. I suggest you stop being so radar dependant. Oh yeah and the armory glitch is back. I found it.

And once your team gets a UAV up, you have all the abilities of C2. Have fun killng senselessly. And checking your surroundngs every few seconds should be second nature! Also, if you listen closely you can hear a persons footsteps, their jumps and their melee's. Don't give me that BS that stealth is OP.

The wii is awesome and can do some awesome things and is the best selling console of this gen so they did something right,something that Sony and Microsoft obviously did wrong!The wii is kinda like the GameCube it just sold a lot better but it still is a great system with a pretty good size library of games,and tons of great exclusive games!
I agree. after going from PS2 to Wii then 360 people wont believe it but its true. The Wii really is the best console for FPS. The aiming is so precise it might even match mouse and keyboard or be even more accurate. At times I wish I could play Halo with my wii remote or gears of war :(

Did this game fix the fact that you can't destroy objects that aren't enemy related like boxes? It's not much, but that was one of my biggest problems with the first Conduit. You could shoot a million bullets and throw tons of bombs at store windows and it wouldn't even get a scratch.
@TheSorrel Well yeah, if it was part of your mission you could destroy it, but I'm talking about when you're just walking down the street and you see a store window and you decide to shoot it, but no matter how many times you shoot it, it doesn't break. I've seen tons of gameplay videos and reviews that had this same problem, so it's not just my copy.

@WebVMan No kidding. Something I've always complained about is that Nintendo's upcoming Wii U should've been what the original Wii should've been in the first place. It would've been as powerful as the competition while also having out of the box support for both traditional AND motion controls.

But Wii games look really terrible, all of them, I mean why would you make a console in this day and age which can't even display games in 720p, but then again neither can the PS3 or Xbox 360 (All of their games are rendered in about 600p, then upscaled to 720p/1080p so they can put a nice "FULL HD OMG" tag on the case of the game).
It's time they made a Nintendo that's ahead, graphically speaking.

@finthallon the reason they didnt have it wii have as good graphics is because they wanted to have a better price. In the end graphics are not the only thing that matters. Gameplay is the important part and wii games game lots of good gameplay especailly Supe Mario galaxy and such. Besides, nintendo IS making a system thats ahead graphicly speaking. Its called Wii U. Figured you would know that.

@Simok1234 A better price for a console with bad graphics and a bad gimmick, the whole waving around a controller is just stupid and tedious, an old regular controller like the SNES had is much better, and a lot of games of the Wii only support the Wii controller which makes a lot of games bad (Metroid Prime 3 and Donkey Kong Country Returns for example, horrible controls).
And the Wii U is far behind the PC, and at most slightly above the PS3 and 360 and will succumb to the PS4 and new Xbox.

in this case, this is a FPS, its point and shoot and the IR pointer is arguably the best part of the wiimote, its not about waving around at all, but its a more accurate way to shoot and the closes to keyboard and mouse playing these 2 methods for certain games like FPS's and strategy games make them superior alot of the time

A real game is controlled by steady and controlled movements, like pressing buttons around or using a mouse, not waving a stick at a screen.
They should have scrapped the whole controller flailing shit and went for a better console with something like the Gamecube controller and with more impressive hardware instead.

But i've ALWAYS hated aiming with an analog stick: It's slow and imprecise, takes forever to get used to....
The IR pointer is a great alternative to the mouse (Mouse and aiming= A match made in heaven) because, it's a POINTING DEVICE unlike moving a stick around trying to get your aiming to align..... Since consoles (usually) don't support mice, IR pointer is the closest experience....

The Conduit 1 was more of a personal favorite for me. I enjoyed it a little more than others but this was sadly a very disappointing sequel. The Conduit might have taken itself a little seriously, but it made the story itleast a little interesting. Conduit 2 had some jokes by switching the voice to John St. John (voice of Duke Nukem) while its funny, it has nothing to do with the original. A decent game is easy to take in, a disappointing sequel hurts :P

Plus on top of that, Ive had times where the stealthers were spawn killing so 2 seconds after you respawn, you die. How is that fair? we get no way of knowing where they are gonna be.the new stealth is much more fair.

@Simok1234 Its called strategy you dumbass. You can't just walk around la la la la la and not expect to die. Consttantly check your surroundings. Most stealth users can be utterly destroyed by a long range weapon, such as the scar. And spawnkilling? When you spawn you have a slight window of invincibility. Pull out a smaw and obliterate them. Done dealt with. You can still see them, but not on radar. I suggest you stop being so radar dependant. Oh yeah and the armory glitch is back. I found it.

@Simok1234 What issue? There never was an issue to begin with! Saying stealth is OP is like saying silencers coupled with UAV jammer from COD4 is OP. You never show up on the radar then. And once your team gets a UAV up, you have all the abilities of C2. Have fun killng senselessly. And checking your surroundngs every few seconds should be second nature! Also, if you listen closely you can hear a persons footsteps, their jumps and their melee's. Don't give me that BS that stealth is OP.

I agree. after going from PS2 to Wii then 360 people wont believe it but its true. The Wii really is the best console for FPS. The aiming is so precise it might even match mouse and keyboard or be even more accurate. At times I wish I could play Halo with my wii remote or gears of war :(

Did this game fix the fact that you can't destroy objects that aren't enemy related like boxes? It's not much, but that was one of my biggest problems with the first Conduit. You could shoot a million bullets and throw tons of bombs at store windows and it wouldn't even get a scratch.
