I think Hooking Up just isn't my style. The character seem...shallow and the acting is not that great. They annoyed me when they went on and on calling him "Red Sweatshirt" But I know some people who like it and some people who don't, so different tastes.

I've never really followed LG15 -- I only really started watching Youtube this past year, and it's not the sort of thing I'm into.

That said, the acting and plotlines in LG15 do seem superior to "Hooking Up". I'm quite sure that "Hooking Up" is just elaborate advertising anyway, given the heavy embedded marketing of Facebook.

I think one of the reasons I think LG15 is superior to most online series is because most series are just marketing strategies. Bebo has a lot of series where the entire point seems to be marketing music, clothes, etc. LG15 really is a story and even if they have product placement they never lose the story.

LG15 helped me discover online entertainment. But I still haven't found anything I like better.
