Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 were the bomb. Excellent gameplay and a very interesting and long story. People keep complaining that ACB and ACR are too short but understand, THERE NOT MAIN GAMES. They only expand AC2 and AC1's storyline. AC3 will be very different with a longer storyline and improved gameplay.

I almost took a shit when I saw Leonardo Da Vinci. That's one of the details that truly amazed me. And, aside from Skyrim, it's the best open world graphically stunning game I've seen!

While every Assassin's Creed game is excellent and rewarding, the first game remains my favorite. Aside from some other minor issues, my biggest complaint with Assassin's Creed II is that it didn't have enough plot development with Desmond. It tried to force me into caring about Ezio when he was introduced only as a plot device to further Desmond's story, and yet the game focused so heavily on Ezio's story and very little on Desmond, in contrast to AC1, which had constant plot development.

But yeah, it's usually best to avoid reviews and other first impressions before playing a game so you could experience everything for yourself first-hand, although it could still work out otherwise; still wouldn't exactly be the same, though.

You can't compare this with Infamous at all. Infamous maybe fun and blowing things up with lightning power, but being just human is better. I like open-world gameplay and everything that Assassin's Creed has. It provides it all!

@SuperMicklovin Well for me they are very important haha. But yes some gameplay was tweaked for the better, but not so much that it became radically new and improved. To put it in the words of the reviewer, lots of parts of Brotherhood were definitely 'contrived', especially the war machine missions and the whole story. I even preferred the assassin crypts in AC2 as opposed to the Lair of Romulus things. And yer I didn't like Rome at all. Everything was bland stone and it was a boring location.
