Maybe a little less volume on the accompainiment, and a little more high bass or low treble in the sound equipment, for the soloist? I think also, the accompanist is not perfectly in tune with the soloist. Tunin such short, high-tension strins, and keepin the bridge adjusted, is not easy.

I really don't play violin, I can a little, but My mediums are guitar and piano. I just started playing mandolin and I believe that if you learn mandolin before violin then your experienced with the left hand but it's the bowing technique that must be mastered.

Very surprisingly good tone from acoustic/electric mandolins. If anyone has ever tried this on mandolin, they would know how incredibly touchy and difficult it is to play this. Very nice offering, of a difficult instrument to find in operation - classical mandolin. Thanks.

Well. Mandoline could be not a "snob" instrument and could be noble whit begginers or amateurs, so what? Calace, Vivaldi, even Mozart recognized its virtues and create wonderful music that explote all the posibilities for this instrument. Mandoline is charming in boy's hands, impressive in virtuoso's hands and a good companion in a cloudy day in the mountains.
