I've had a few friends whom been to shelters and mental health facilities in NY and lets just say the streets are better than going to ANY facility there. some don't have showers and the ones that do are freezing water then theres the curfue and by 5:30am they're thrown out on the street, and the mental health places steal from patients all the time and do not feed them and drug 'em up.
