You could use solar powered lights to make oil-producing algae, and then at night, use a little bit of oil to power the lights to grow more algae at night! (In theory).
@seanotube85 I'm sure the usage of oil is still going to be high. Better off charging a battery bank using sloar or wind turbines at night or whatever (depending on the scale).
Won't the algae clog the pump when its grows too dense?
