  • Let's All Do The Shed Boys Dance !!!!

  • WHERE'S THE RUBBLE?

  • this is probably the funniest thing I've seen in my life. props

  • k thanks

  • verry good stop motion it must have taken you at least a few days of hard work. kan you please explain me how you managed to sync your music with the pictures, how do I know how many to take for a certain event like drinking tea?

  • ah so your an aspiring Stop-Mo artist too, well then.

Firstly: I used a software called "Stop motion animator" (If you Google it, it should be the first one) it's a fairly simple piece of software all you need is a web-cam and some time.

Secondly: the syncing; is what I do is to take a few seconds of film then import it into a film editing software such as for this one I used Microsoft Movie Maker, cut and the rest well you just have to guess, you see Stop mo is mostly about trial and error.

  • @noddindogproductions i am too. that was excellent, and the piano just kinda looked like they were moving it around.

  • wonderful! i love this song, and you've done a really great job getting the right sort of feel for the video.

  • Very impressed, great vid to a great song!

  • Lol nice I like it! Try not to do stop motion near any natural lighting and you'll get the best effect.

  • lol had a cup of tea lol awesomes

  • love it.....

  • why does the piano keep moving

  • ah yes, this was a simple mistake, because this was my first stop motion i didnt notice until 1:10 into the film,

    sorry for that

  • @noddindogproductions it doesnt matter the animation is so smooth you are a natural at this!

  • it is hard when you keep moving people because u keep knocking th piano by accident

  • @1fatdan

it isnt moving, its dancing :)

  • @1fatdan well at 1:10 he said so shift it butmthe other bits i dont know

  • Technically the singer is called Bernard Cribbins, i merely came up with Ted becuase it rhymes with Fred you see ?, now in the future try not to jump to conclusions and assumptions

  • Brill! I love this song - great job on the stop-mo! The casual way he drinks his tea is really funny! :D

  • that was awsome! :D

  • why's he called ted?

  • well why not ?

  • Good work fella !

  • haha love it :-)

  • Oh men!! So funny! It's very cool xD

5 Stars !!!! Very nice :DDDD

    nice animation.

    Good song too.

Ever since i saw this i have made a few of my own lego animations.

They are really fun to do but they take AGES!!

  • that was amazin!!!

  • brilliant well done

  • Benie Cribbins, realy he plays Wilfred in Doctor Who.

  • Great animation, mate. XD

  • I had to do something like this today.

    Go measure up and doorstep.

Go home, make it, go back and fit it.

It works...but the scooter catches it.

Go home, get tools, go back, flip the scooter over and file away a stub that causing the problem.

Flipped the scooter, didn't take off enough.

Go home, get a grinder, go back.

Grind the bracket off and it works.

Get me tools and then have a cuppa tea.

  • That is truly inspired, thank you very much!

  • when charlie and ted got home they must of dashed for the loo from all the tea they drank Lol

  • really nice animation

  • love this. the lego men rule and they sure like drinking tea !

  • i love this lol its good and fun...they have quite alot of tea dont they! hehe

  • eh... the black thing is moving the whole time...

  • The black thing is the paino and i was a novice at animation then, i didnt really know what i was doing, i only realized at 1:10 but hey nothings perfect now is it, we all make mistakes

  • ye, i know. and eh... i like making lego stop motions too! and this one is the bestes ever!

  • thank you

  • Good old Cribbins. Loved him in Doctor Who too!

  • amazing man

  • very well done i remember first time my family got a video camera like 10 or so years ago me an my sister tryed to do the same kind of animation but failed hoplessly having the wrong equipment an all. still it passed the time

  • This is very well put together!!!!!!!

  • very well done.

  • I love this. It's so cleverly done and the song reminds me of my dad, coz he used to sing it! Lol.

  • nice, its really well done

  • Thank you

  • its a piano cos ive seen the music vid for this song

  • lmao awesome...least its not a waste of time like some of the other vids on youtube >.>

  • hey heres a thought buggy, if your reading this you've just been blocked, i dont allow insignificent chain letters on my vidoes

  • wat was with the moving piano

    part from that very good

  • when i made this, i was still new to animation the moving piano is a novice mistake i only realized at 1:10, but hey we all make mitakes dont we

and glad you liked it :)

  • wow! well done!!!

  • uberlol

  • Still loving this mate, makes me smile every time. I have a question though. Why did you choose a piano? I think it's great and works really well but someone has just pointed out to me that the "item" is never named in the song.

  • glad you liked it, and you know im not quite sure why i chose a piano i've never thought about it, it could've been a comedy sketch thats stuck in my mind the laurel and hardy piano sketch, but your right the "item" never is named

  • its still a piano though i mean the description fits perfectly

  • its obvious though i mean y wud they move something else like a table u can jus take em to pieces

  • that is absolutely legend:D

  • rofl loved it

And i love this song!!! I've known this song for years!!

I've never thought of making a stopmotion of it though.

Very good, Although at the start, the piano is moving around so much lol.

    It was good (Y)

    more?

  • aye more to come, and the reason for the piano moving is i didnt fix it down to the base until 1:10 easy mistake for a novice :) glad you liked it though

  • well if your a novice and you can produce that, i'm impressed.

  • another good one!

  • Rofl Funny!! good job on da Lego xDD

  • thanks mate

  • Great work on the animation, and Mr Cribbins is a national treasure, gawd bless 'im :)

  • the piano is made of legos. why don't those guys just take it apart? like "let's the just take the legs off." no!! take the whole thing apart!!

    god!!!

  • haha good point but i dont think they have the brain capicity to even think it, they might not even know how to put it back together :)

  • ya, i guess.

maybe they should build brains or somthing. like if i was legos, i would build a brain machine and make me smarter than everybody.

  • hey thats quite good idea for an animation thanks mate you got me thinking :)

  • hey, look man, i got the ideas, but not the legos.

  • Holy damn! Where he get that warhammer!?

  • its suprising what lego people can fit in their pockets

  • well then your blocked

  • This is the first comment I've ever made on YouTube having seen thousands of videos. I reckon the effort, time and art put in to this deserves at least 1 minute of my time. Terrific video, perfectly in sync with the song. Well done and don't worry about commercial success, this has obviously given a lot of pleasure to a lot of people and that is the starting point of any entertainment career. Good luck.

  • Superb,made me laugh,ta!

  • aw not at all! but it really is fantastic...i was in stiches!its just so bloomin' clever! HOW DID YOU DO IT?! aha

    well done!

    xxxx

  • with great difficulty and alot of patience :D

  • i can imagine! its cracking, you should get a contract set up and make a few pennies out of this! dont let it go to waste!!! xxxxxx

  • i guess so but who will take on a lego animationist ? thats the question, theres not many jobs going for animtion , i mean like i'd love to get my name up, if you know someone then please tell me :)

  • If you build up a small portfolio of animations using different techniques/styles, then send that off, you might be surprised. Even if they say no, at least you tried and you won't spend your life wondering what would have happened.

This is darn good for a first effort, I think you are talented.

If you compare Nick Park's first W&G animation to the later ones it looks very crude, but Aardman saw enough potential to back it. Park did most of the first one on his own I believe.

  • Absolutely wonderful. Well done!

  • Well done!

  • made me want a cup of tea. congrats on getting blunty to make your video a response.

  • Great video .

  • One of the best animes I have seen in a long time 10 out of 10. Now I think I'll "ave a cuppa tea." Cheers
