Its really nice to see how he is soo good at what he does at such a young age. not to metions most kids who are this good are arrogant ball hogs. but as i can see he cares about the game more than himself and knows when to pass the ball
damn yall see the range of dat last 3 pointer at da end...kids nice for real....keep him out of trouble and from hanging with the wrong crowd he reminds me of my little brother who is 12 he plays pop warner football and he was always in the news paper and had an article with some ex patriots player saying he was da next best thing but then he did some stupid stuff and now he is in a juvenile facility...keep little man out of trouble i'll be lookin for his name in high school and college and pros
Lol at 4:02, the other guard on Jashaun's team (Ginger hair - is pretty good from what i see in this videos) is jsut doing some casual stretches on d.
@WyattBaller - This kid is what? 11-12 years old right? He is playing with kids 1-3 years older and his cardivascular velocity is INSANE for his age, he has another 4years or so untill competition picks up and even so he'll be by far better.. 4 years. He was also the fastest 11year old on the planet.
My point being, this kid WILL improve and he will be HUGE.
I'd love to have had the support and motivation from JaShaun's Dad, he truely is going far.
more likely the "Future Allen Iverson" - still beasting
if i were you though i wouldn't have him play older kids that are much more physically matured. i see you've said he has broken an arm and broken a wrist...you don't want a bunch of jealous older kids constantly on the hunt for him. don't ruin his career before it starts with injuries just because you want to impress people that you bred a son into a baller. 3-4 grades older is ridiculous, and not necessary whatsoever..
more likely the "Future Allen Iverson" - still beasting

shit.. buncha hater comments... like to be real.. he's gonna need years of dedication and lots of luck to make it to the nba.. shoot he's doing pretty good against some older kids.. he would be dominating other 12 year olds... anyway.. i hope he does make it to the nba though.. that would be cool.. i could see jashaun's name on tv and be like "shit that's that kid from youtube like 10 years ago"
I can't stop watching these video's. Their so inspirational. Jashaun is going to go so far! The NBA is definitly looking forward to him. I'm left handed and when I play other states, they assume im right handed. This is an advantage. :D But Jashaun can use both hands easily. It's amazing
NO offence but if this is 14u they are terrible. Not your kid but the kids he's playing. I'm 14 and play 15u and a 14u team. And the 14u team kids can dunk. Where are you from. Probably because I'm from San Diego, California.
This kid is gonna be a great one day...........better than he already is. I play basketball myself and been to alot of aau tournament and have never seen a kid play like that.........two things though............work on your left hand and practice it in you game when his team is up by alot...........defense is unbelievable.......MEGA PROPS!!!!!!!!!!!
Look, im gonna be honest with you Mr. Agosto. This is just some advice for your son. I play AAU basketball in connecticut, and the teams JaShaun is playing arent real challenges. There not palying hard or agressive defense when he beats them. He just drives by his man, and the defender kinda sits their lazily. My advice would be, get him playing on a 14U or 15U team to get used to the real pressure fast. Thats all :)
@WyattBaller That's what I do. Jashaun is in 6th grade and he plays 14u leagues and tournaments. I would want him to play 15u but remember, he is pre puberty and he is 5ft tall and only 90 lbs. This year since he has been playing 14u he has already had a broken arm and a broken hand. From being pushed on layups and jumpers. As soon as he hits puberty, he will be playing 3 to 4 grades up instead of 2 grades up (which he is doing now).
@JayZilla25 wacthing your son play makes me want to go out there and play harder remember dont led the media get to his head because it changes him hardwork and detemination and he has that keep it up
@JayZilla25 ooo and i played bball in conneticut too, but that doesnt mean there arent good teams? if your teams are goood enough to get to nationals and hershey the competition is actually alot different
@JayZilla25 He is pre puberty? Dang. You get faster during puberty, i turned 14, 3 mounths ago, and during puberty, you get a lot faster, and a lot stronger. Your bones get stronger, and your reflexes get better. So if he's doing this pre-puberty, then he's gonna be really good and tall after puberty.
@JayZilla25 r.agosto your son is the best kid player i ever sam and im 11 so that means 11 years of basketball watching and i havent seen anybody as goo das him
@JayZilla25 r.agosto your son is the best kid player i ever sam and im 11 so that means 11 years of basketball watching and i havent seen anybody as good as him
@JayZilla25 Mr. Agosto, how does Jashaun play up 2 years in ECBA, does he still tryout for 14u teams, or does he play with ECBA 14u teams that don't have enough players, I play for the 9th grade pioneers, and i saw him play with the redmond rush or whatever, they had maybe 4 other players.
@WyattBaller To be honest with you, any kid that is that much shorter than all the other players...or palyers as you would put it, and can manipulate the ball like he just showed, is on his way to being the next (excuse the pun) big thing. Way to downplay him tho, good job.
@WyattBaller To be honest with you, any kid that is that much shorter than all the other players...or palyers as you would put it, and can manipulate the ball like he just showed, is on his way to being the next (excuse the pun) big thing. Way to downplay him tho, good job.
My son plays in the same age group, and he plays against kids that are 6'5 and taller in the national tournaments I.E. King James tournament, he is playing against small kids you guys need to get him playing against better competition. Looks good though.
good to see your passing more jashaun. remember an assist is just as good as a bucket. as you grow up i can see you playing PG if your not already. i can see you being a steve nash; the ability to get a pass through a tight spot, but if you dont get in his face, a deadly shooter. keep it up kid; your going far
Awesome. he has gotten tons better in the last 2 years. Look forward to watchin you play college ball in a few years...just stay outta trouble and keep doin good. Also, awesome job parents for all of your positive motivation! :)
all you need to do is work on your left hand and you will be amazing, smart teams will try to push you towards your left but if you have a left hand you will be unstoppable.
its funny because its like one of those moments where your the other team and see that kid when you first get on the floor and laugh at his height compared to everyone else, and you just totally underestimate him. then he ends up kicking your teams ass. its like a movie
This kid is simply great I've watch a lot of AAu basketball on the west coast in the last 10 years on he has to be one of the best player i have ever seen and thats saying something. keeep up the good work son!
The kid is definitely talented. His quick, athletic, and has mad skills. For the haters who say he's too short, with those skills he can still make it in the NBA.
Dayum left hand layups, perfect D, perfect handles, perfect passes, I also like his double clutch layups. This guys gonna be great! I just hope high school wont affect his b-ball performance.
He passes very well and has good defense. He also has amazing composure. Notice number 0 was fouling and trash-talking, but JaShaun played through it and it didn't affect his game. He will go far.
Well... trash talking is part of the game. Not necessarily this young but it part of the game. However it brought Jays best game. I never see him play this well in a long time
hes kinda short

He's a beast at shooting, handles and steals.
But I'm even more impressed at his passing ability.
He could choose to do it all by himself, but he a team player.
Jay, you da best.

No doubt in my mind that if he keeps this focused, he'll make the league. Probably 1st overall.

He passes very well and has good defense. He also has amazing composure. Notice number 0 was fouling and trash-talking, but JaShaun played through it and it didn't affect his game. He will go far.
TrueBalla35 2 years ago
Well... trash talking is part of the game. Not necessarily this young but it part of the game. However it brought Jays best game. I never see him play this well in a long time
