aldous huxley was the only writer who really affected me emotionally, I remember when my computer broke, so to pass the time i started reading island by aldous huxley, and it literally started making me feel more alive, it actually scared the hell out of me and gave me a panic attack, and i had to put it down for a few days. because i felt like i had been numb and distracted for so long, and his words started to wake me up from sleep, but i was too sensitive to feeling.

make the best of all the worlds you live in. such a great message. one thing I've noticed in Huxley's interviews is people associating him with an elite class. Huxley came from a very well to do family, educated well read and so forth. His education and family is well documented on wikipedia so I would encourage anyone to read furthur on his background on that site. Huxley had a brilliant mind.
