  • If God always gives the world his word in one language (as KJV advocates say of English), then the KJV is certainly not that language, for God chose Koine GREEK not ENGLISH to reveal his New Covenant!

  • @dremias5545

I am new to the idea that the king James is the only good and true translation in English. I look back now and see why I had such a hard time seeking God reading the niv etc. if there is one Jesus and one way to the father it would only make sense that there would be one correct and true translation in every language. Think about it. Pray about it. Stop fighting and really seek the truth.

  • @dremias5545

I am glad to finally be able to post on a kjvo debunkers YouTube video. The anti kjvo always have their comments blocked....The point here is that since you are blinded and unwilling to hear the truth, you will not. The problem here is the kjv makes way more sense and addresses the whole heart of God's word perfectly. The other versions open the door for many problems. That is why the church is in such horrible shape today. I am new to the idea that the king James is the only good

  • Is it just me or does the host look like TheAmazingAtheist? That being said, great discussion, and well supported.

FYI KJVOism is (as I see it) blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. It is stating that God is not capable of preserving His word before 1611 or since without the help of man. That is amazing to me.

  • First wrong part...their are no original manuscripts around. All are copies

  • The Bible is the Word of God. But its perfection is in its message. People should not obscess over specific verses. This goes for people on both sides of this argument.

  • P.S. see this is STILL no reason to choose a modern version over the KJV even if "u" think a few verse could be better worded!Because the other versions CHANGE ENTIRE MEANINGS!!And attack the deity of Christ and cause confusion!

  • Hey can I ask u something.......do u study the Greek and Hebrew and Aramaic?Because IF you did u would find that the KJV IS inspired!NO the proper translation in acts was EASTER Peter was held till After Passover READ the entire chapter. He was held till after passover or until the celebration of (Ischcar) or EASTER!Also the proper translation IS the love of Money is the root of ALL evil!Read the context he was NOT talking of ALL evil present in man!You have to use COMMON SENSE!

  • 1st - This is a silly debate. People arguing over translations of the bible. It is very sad. I do read the NASB. It is more literally correct to the original text, but does that make it better than the KJV. No. The reason I don't preach from the KJV is because no one talks that way anymore. Don't forget, it is a translation too. For the record, in Acts 12:4, the word can be translated either way. It is more likely that it was used as the word Passover. It says they intended to keep him "after"

  • Easter, named for the Pagan goddess? In the Bible? Mmmhmm.

  • @Lethalhabit I am replying to a comment you posted 1 year ago. Just so you know, the word in the KJV from Acts 12:4 for Easter was taken from the Greek word G3957 Pascha, in relation to the Hebrew word H6453 Pesach, which its root comes from Hebrew word H6452 Pasach, and is translated as Passover. I got this from Strong's Concordance.

Easter derives from Ishtar, which derives from Astarte, which is the name of a pagan god.

So which do you think is a better rendering of Acts 12:4?

  • Why do I have a feeling that the host got pwned??

    Shalom & Ahavah

  • i like this. i've seen at least one or two of these types of movies recently (although this might be the first one i've watched all of). it's funny b/c that seems just like how each side talks about the issues. that one part about the love of money sounds like a new argument to me, but the rest sounds just like it to me. :)

i think u got the hairstyle right for the guest and he's just funny with his response style. at the same time, i think this video was still showing both sides objectively.

  • I don't get it. It's not funny anyway so really who cares. I guess. No wonder you people are so goofy.

  • It's kinda hard to believe that a grown man with children would write and produce such as silly cartoon. Seriously, has God actually given you the 'ministry' of cutting down those who believe He is TOTALLY capable of overcoming the language barrier and preserving His word in English?

  • Again, my friend, you fail to see the point of my video.

Yes, God can do anything BUT God never said in His Word that he would use a group of Anglicans to create a perfect translation in 1611(or what ever revision you deem perfect).

If God "did" pick the KJV over the Geneva Bible, then why? What if the Geneva was perfect, then it was "purified" to the 1611. What if the 1611 was perfect, then was purified to the NKJV? Do you see where I am going with this my friend?

  • Actually this was based on a conversation I had with a King James only preacher.

Money is not the root of rape.

Tell me icartton2, since you admit you have no Scriptural support for your KJV only belief then where was the perfect Bible before 1611?

What was the perfect Bible(final authority) in 1602?

Why was this perfect Bible changed in 1611?

To this day no KJVOist will ever tell me where the perfect Bible was in 1602.

  • You make it your 'ministry' to go out and cut down folk who believe God has given them His Word while you stand in defense of modern versions (also translated by men in case you never figured that one out). Should you not rejoice that there is a group of believers who know God has given us His true word in English? So, some foolish fellow or two spoke harsh words to you, at some point, along the way. Get over it. Please, uphold the brethren.

  • Why do you continue to say the same thing about me?

You fail to address my points yet again.

  • I really wish you would see that I am not "cutting down" anyone. I am simply pointing out how hollow KJVOism is and how KJVOism is built upon shifting sands based upon feelings, double standards, and circular reasoning.

I'm simply following the Berean example by question this King James only doctrine.

Would you care to address the points I made in this video about:

    1. rape

    2. the sin committed in Eden

Was money the root of those sins?

  • We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

    (I John 3:14)

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

    (I John 3:16)

  • And what does this have to do with my video and the questions I asked you?

Here is something you really should ponder since you have yet to recant your false statement about me SEE my video to you for more info:

    Exodus 20:16

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

  • it's very clear icartoon2 that you are not interesting in any type of discussion. You refuse to address any of my questions, but yet then put forth the mirage that I am attacking people by "cutting down folk". Error is error, and to correct an error is not cutting down "folk" but cutting down the error. This error is the lie of King James Onlyism. To expose this lie is not attacking the people deceived by this lie but in hopes that they(deceived) will research the facts and think.

  • Dremias5545 states: "research the facts and think." This is the theme of your 'bible'. This is the depth of your 'conviction.' "research the facts and think." Where is God in your 'logic?' The answer is nowhere because God does not exist in man's 'logic.' "research the facts and think." Research what 'facts?' In your world, there are none, but your own, because you believe God's Word doesn't exist on earth. "think?" or ask God? I'll choose the latter.

  • Acts 17:11 (NASB)

17:11 Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.

  • nuff said.

  • When are you going to follow this command?

    Exodus 20:16

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

  • Yep. Think! Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. Matt 22:37-38

  • @icartoon2 Stop your babbling Ass wipe!! Get on your knees right now and BEG for Jesus, your SAVIOR to have mercy on your shitty life! You're nothing but a piece of smelly soft dog shit full of sin! ONLY through the love of your loving God can you get a fresh start like I once did! Without Jesus in your heart your hell bound where once their you surely will spend eternity(let that sink in, it's forever)with terrible suffering and gnashing of teeth! Convert now and be bound for heaven like me

  • @jesusdied1 in your reply to icartoon2, you reminded me of Colossians 3:8. You would benefit in memorizing this verse prior to posting comments that can be labeled as filthy communication.

  • i never thot of the 'money verse' this way before; it does seem that "all sorts of evil" is more accurate than "all evil". another question kvjo's can never answer to me is "where was the Word of God BEFORE the 1611 KJV???????????????? life didn't start in 1611.

  • Favorited! Oh, the words JESUS LEARNED aren't good enough -- He got an inferior manuscript, versus KJV??

Oh, see Jas 4:5 where KJV makes Holy Spirit out to be jealous! Or Gen 3:11, which mistranslates Hebrew nagath (which means DENOUNCE), into "tell" -- thus denouncing God as a LIAR! Or, Mark 3:5, mistranslated to make the LORD commit the sin of Anger!

And on & on! How about Exo 6:20, which is mistranslated to make God break his own Law against marrying one's aunt? LOL!

  • This is hilarious, typical response to an unwanted question - "you are twisting the words of the Bible."

  • hmmmm...................5 STARS!
