You have no idea what they're trying to build, there's no reason for them to be doing flips (major health risk on a real construction site), the jumping sound effects aren't needed, and some poses have no meaning (like the 2 kids holding items at 0:43 & the girl at 1:49). I've seen comments comparing this to Kids Bop... While I can see that, I would say what they did on this show is more akin to Glee! now. This was a different generation. These early seasons are my favorite because that's when I was a kid. I didn't like the later casts in the early 90's, but I had grown out of the show and I think the times changed and the show had run its course - just like MMC had run its course by that time.
This cast consistently delivered every pop tune they had to cover, and they did it brilliantly! So many people talk smack, but it's amazing to me how this small group of pre(teens) gets so much attention! Could it be because they are AWESOME!? Kids Inc filled a niche at the time and each one of the cast (both singing and dancing) was awesome in their own right! The mix of all of them is what made the show so colorful & memorable to those of us who grew up on it! DVD's PLEASE, DISNEY!

I actually remember watching this show before it was on the Disney channel and being bummed for not having the DC when it went to Disney. I was glad to finally have DC and watched it every day after school along with the MMC

This group has better vocals than the original band. If we could get the Kids Inc vocals together with the Starship band - and forego the atrocious sound effects - we'd have a legendary performance.

What a great clip-for a great (and very 80's) show! Kids, Inc was clean, good fun! I really loved this show when I was a kid!

I actually remember watching this show before it was on the Disney channel and being bummed for not having the DC when it went to Disney. I was glad to finally have DC and watched it every day after school along with the MMC

Powwow23, I agree even in the past 4 years or so Disney's best shows were replaced with not as great shows. They are not as good as they used to be.

Is 'STACY 'Fergie' FERGUSON' feautured in this video? Love those 'MORK from ORK' costumes!!! If I'm not mistaken JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT was also part of this show, but that wasn't til late 80's early 90's

Kids Incorporated had alot of future stars on its cast...Fergie (Stacy Ferguson), Martika ("Toy Soldiers"), Renee Sands (Wild Orchid), Rahsaan Patterson, Eric Balfour (24), Jennifer Love Hewitt, who was credited simply as "Love Hewitt".
