I'm sure, however, that Ford would have offered the family $500,000 to "keep them quiet". GM and Chrysler would have processed the recall like it was simple day-to-day form work...

That character was *meant* to die, and Death organised things so she *could* die to satisfy His list. Does that mean police cars are more dangerous than other cars, simply because a massive log goes through it at the start of the movie, killing the lone occupant?

Its a scene from Final Destination, the vehicle gets into a wreck with a truck carrying those pipes, the pipes then somehow lodge into the car narrowly missing her head.... and avoiding the obvious 'oh pipes went through her head during the crash' ....... the airbag was the 'wow didnt expect that' kinda thing this kind of sad movie portrays.

i don't think ford air bags are more dangerous, and they won't kill people any more than any other car company air bag, in fact ford has adapted volvo safety standards into there cars since taking ownership, volvo has been known for many years of having excellent safety standards, and in fact i would rather have a fully deployed air bag then a air bag that doesn't fully or deploy fast enough.

i just take this safety stuff to heart, i was really ticked over the crown vic rear end fires, NO OTHER CAR IN THE WORLD CAN HANDLE THE IMPACTS THOSE CROWN VICS TOOK, AND THE SPEED IN THOSE IMPACTS WAS HIGH, when your father builds these cars it really hits home, and i know the crown vics have the highest rating in rear end collision and front impacts in there class, and sorry if i come off harsh, it just bugs me on a different level
