I saw Duarte in Honolulu near a bodysurfing spot called Pt. Panic. this version of Midnite Lighting reminds me of that concert when he played Watch Out!. I'd rather listen to Duarte giving a Hendrix recital than anyone in the world giving a frickin Mozart recital. He totally gets into what Hendrix was doing.
They'll rock your ass off for a few hours then talk your ears off like you are old friends! $15 is pittence for what you get . It's worth that just to hear him quote some Shakespere to a reggae beat.Cool guys.
Damn I miss the Double Door. Used to hang out there a lot back in the late 80's early 90's before moving away. Great blues venue.

One of the very best blues-rock guitarists working today, Chris takes it home.
