This song was sang to me as a very young kid i recognise...as far as i can remember it was about a full moon?!?

Memang kita punya kekayaan yang lura biasa, tapi sayang kurang mendapat tempat untuk dipentaskan dalam media TV. Mestinya seperti reog ponoroga atau kuda kepang bisa di pentaskan untuk pembukaan shoping centre misalnya, atau angklung ( arumba) bisa selalu dipamerkan di tempat semacam itu...itulah yang dilakukan oleh Malaysia. Jadi jangan heran kalau pada suatu saat orang asing melihatnya bukan di Indonesia...

merly, is this an indonesian traditional song? i like it very much! it's very melancholic and scary at the same time. i love this kind of songs. if u know any song similar to this genre, would u mind recommending it to me? especially if it's frm this choir. after janger, this is my 2nd fav. thanx merly ;)

it's a sundanese traditional song, while sunda is one of many ethnics in indonesia.

yes, it's sundanese song....

within this genre (indonesian folk songs), the choir sang several songs, beside Janger and Bubuy Bulan, PSM-ITB also sang Luk-Luk Lumbu dan Karaben Sape (available in my youtube channel).
